ORIGINAL: NuevaVida ...others say if it's in the mind but not also physical, then it's not real. I was hungry... I closed my eyes and saw a juicy, cheese, mushroom, and onion smothered hamburger in my mind and envisioned eating it -- and yes, I pigged out on the cheese-paper too. Then I opened my eyes... I was still hungry. [8D] [sm=cute.gif] Yes, of course if your fetish is being hand fed chunks of burger then online is going to feel a little unsatisfying. But what if your drive is to have someone else make key choices for you - how you dress, how much you study, these needs and be fulfilled from a distance surely? Fulfilled but how well? Those things can be controlled at a distance but sometimes its not just the choices being made, its the presentation of them and the outcome. Its sometimes, in a way, about being monitored. (That's rather clinical, perhaps I mean more praised and admired.) I'll give you an example -- there is a certain segment of this world that would love to dress up and clean my house. If I could let them in, walk away for the day and come home to a sparkling house -- I'd do it -- weekly. But its not about cleaning the house (with instructions) its about me watching, admonishing, punishing, praising and generally supervising. I'm sure some are fine with the distance and online choices being made for them, but I think its a lot more than that.
