Uhhhh...he wasnt suspended by any corporations, he was suspended by the very people who stand to lose a few hundred million in GRANTS....BOEMRE. They would not take that kind of public action precipitously.

They don't apply for grants, they submit a budget, presumably to the dept of the interior. Governmental agencies are rather sensetive to a phone call from a Senator are they not?

I see no evidence of false data. I see a LOT of circumstancial evidence that XYZ oil and energy, Inc. doesn't like this guy and wants him silenced so they called their pet senator(s).

Yeah it does. Now they say it has nothing to do with scientific integrity but they won't tell him that it is and he is still suspended.

Again, all you have is vague feelings about what may be behind it. What I have is an overt, public action that no government agency would take without basis. We'll see when the investigation is done.

Whoever gave the order to have him suspended (silenced) will quietly back off and we won't hear anything about it.

In 3 months, he will be back at his job doing what he has been doing for years. Of course in 3 months, the weather in that area will be too bad to perform surveys.
