Back to original post...I've been dominant for as long as I can remember.  At least I felt comfortable taking my life in my own hands.  I always followed my passions even as a child without regard to what others thought.  I also always felt comfortable taking a leadership role in social situations, but never had a desire to force others to do my bidding.  D/s was a natural progression.

Oh fuck. I didn't add pizza crust to my evaluation questionnaire. All stats are now skewed. This study is cursed, cursed, dammit !!

Perhaps I need to rethink this being a scientist thing.

I personally think it's genetic. I remember seeing BDSM porn sites on my dad's search history years ago, back when I never even considered the possibility of being a part of it myself.

Then I generally give in to guilty pleasure of unhealthy food and... dunno... I thought perhaps I should try and switch things up for a while.

But yea... I'll probly just go with cutting down :p


I mean.. I think there ARE health benefits to vegan/veggie diets.... But I also think b12 is important. However some vegetables HAVE been shown to contain b12(such as nori)....

Also to get the proteins one would normally from meat, one just have to eat very varied.

I dunno. But all in all, I DO think it would be beneficial to the planet if I stopped eating meat.


Edit: Also sorry for derailing the thread [:(] Im submissive because a wizard cursed me with being submissive 4EVAR! Then he stole my bag...

I believe that the nurture vs nature debate has generally come to the conclusion that there is a mixture of both. There is what we are born with and what we make of it.

In my case, my parents tell me that I've always been a tough little cookie. Did they have an influence of this? Certainly. My mother definitely had a huge influence on my personality. She is a very strong woman, very assertive and commands respect from people around her. I have always made it a goal to be like her in that respect. My father has shown me that strong men can be chivalrous, in the service of the woman he loves (my mother) and isn't intimidated by strong women. And of course, my parents haven't been the only influences in my life.

My belief is that at my core, there was a naturally dominant woman that benefited from the strong dominant role models in her life. For this, I am grateful.
