Interesting stuff, both the premise and the strong replies.
K then. Without getting hold of this (or these) books, tapes, whatever I cannot really say what RELYFE does other than a mild form of hypnosis. Ok. Hmm. After some consideration mild hypnosis is what happens to me when I am focusing on my partner. This is way back to the early 70's, so before all that don't drug, drink, ect when involved with a partner. I have known for a long time that sex has the capability of ruling me, that is why I have kept my sexual partners down to those I trust (no one night stands, even in this wild disco days). I can easily see how some of my mates have used that trait in me to get what they wanted in other areas. For me at least, it has gone well beyond subspace into lifespace. Do I regard this as being abused? Hell no. It is not like someone can stand across a crowded room and point at some chick on the other side and give her some sort of hypnotic beam. There has to be some sort of mutual consideration. I cannot be hypnotized unless I willingly participate. Even those people on stage who cluck like chickens, do so willingly because they chose to be there.
Relyfe is what any other quick fix program is, a hook to get gullible people a hope that they can win at something. They can study up on it all they want, they still need a partner to cooperate. And as for those submissives/slaves who hope to be trained by Relyfe, sure, why not? It is their choice. And as a few people up above have noted, they should also recognize that sometimes their barriers will be taken down gradually. It is why I am very careful in my choices.

um.... a person shouldn't even think about delving into any kind of bdsm relationship with someone until they know they can trust that person. If a girl decides to trust a man to use those kind of training methods on her, that doesn't mean she's got mental issues. And if she uses a stimulate I don't think that's a terrible thing. Sometimes things can be more fun when your mind is half gone. Now, it can be a problem if that stimulate is absolutely necessary to ensure satisfaction. And the whole “You should never play under or with someone under the influence of drink, drugs or mess with hypnotism.” What the hell so you're saying you shouldn't have sex with a drunk person? As if that rule is being followed. As long as you are an adult and in your right mind (even if you decide to get totally fucked up later), then it's completely up to you individually to make decisions regarding your sex life. We live, we learn.

In the past 10 years I have met a lot of people in a 24/7 relationship. NONE of them lost the need to continue functioning in society. Now I have read some posts on here of some who want to be locked up somewhere and never have to go out again, but never in real life, only in porn mags.
