Everything Obama has ever said is a lie.

He made promises that he had no intention of keeping.    Change?   He is Bushes 3rd term.

on the list only Obama and Romney are electable. the question is does America vote for the Mormon or the incumbent Black President?

My thoughts are that Obama will be reelected.

I dunno, I have never taken Ron Paul seriously. He seems to have a few good points/views but he has others that are just way out there, imo.

Not to mention his age is an issue, he looks a little frail and like he could keel over at any time.. which means, a voter would have to look just as closely at his running mate, just in case...

it is hard to know. i've been sitting in the car with people who were generally nice, but if a person of (insert ethnic group here) cuts them off in traffic, the sudden tirade seems totally out of character and really surprising, but it's still a part of who they are. then they turn to me, as if they forgot i was there, and say "oh but you're one of the good ones!" and that's usually the last time i talk to them. =p

i read an article before where he basically said the same thing; that he was just really busy and wasn't paying any attention to the newsletter. while i can buy that a person can get super busy and let something fall to the wayside, when you have political aspirations, as he did at the time, a document like that is VERY important because it's how people learn about you, how they relate to you, and it's a paper trail that will be with you for the next bajillion years -- not paying attention to that is just seriously irresponsible. so if that IS the true story, then it's still pretty lame. =p i don't think the motivation for bringing it up was to take down Ron Paul, but to illuminate something really odd in his history; he should've expected that, it's part of the political process.

(eta: the comments under the video point out that he claims he's hearing those things for the first time, but previously he DID claim responsibility for them because they've been brought up before. he's kind of painting himself into a corner there...)

As far Obama, I've had enough of the spineless no balls attitude.  Stand for something.

goodness, i agree. he's like a limp noodle in a hurricane...
all he does is cave in to the republicans on any and everything -- hey dude, people voted for you because they wanted a difference. if all you do is give the republicans everything they want, where's the difference?

Obama has been awfully weak. A horrible hand was dealt to him and I would be willing to see what could happen under different circumstances.

He definitely has my vote out of what I have seen thus far thrown up against him.

Ron Pauls voting record is consistent.  He is a known quantity.

He is unelectable. I hope he does run a serious campaign, though.

Obama has been a big disappointment, but unfortunately, I am not comfortable with any of the others. I am disgusted with inventional American politics at this point, so Paul may well be a break from that. I just don't think he is electable.

If you dont give Wall street all the money- they put a bullet in the head...   that is the real world.   Ron Paul would stand up to that.  No one else will.

He worried me right out of the gate. I was looking forward to Guantanamo being closed.. Well he went back on that and signed an order that would prohibit it from happening seemingly even after the UN called for it's closure.

I wanted to still believe he was going to "make a change" after that in the rest of his promises but it didn't look any better with furthering steps.

And yes, there seems to be something wrong with every single one of them.

I get the creeps from Romney, Bachmann and the rest. Cain I think is looking for power and doesn't have a clue of what to do if he were to get in office.

I liked him up until he voted for TARP.  At that point- I knew he was a phony.

Would it be OK if I said you're the only black belly dancer I know?

A damn hawt one too. (which has nothing to do with black/white/brown/etc)

@Icarys - okies, juuust making sure. haha
thanks again ^.^

@Hill - thanks ^_^ hardy har har. i know several of them locally, but there aren't many of us in the overall scene, at least here. but the "belly dance matriarch" of the area is a black lady. she's in her 70s and has taught almost everyone here at some point or another. she has probably forgotten more about belly dance than most of the people in our area ever knew.

no i don't snore (well i have when my allergies were acting up =p but nothing earth-shattering). i just don't relate to most people well, and relating/understanding is necessary for a successful cure to singleness. =p
(i have to add, i think a lot of people i meet get scared of the "dead M spectre;" they ask me about what experience i've had, i mention the last relationship, they ask how it ended, i say "he died," and they let their minds fill in the blanks on how that might impact a relationship with me. oh well. =p)

so anyway, about the President...

Oh being single has some good perks. I don't need a cure from it.

What I would LIKE is to find a good woman I could relate to as well..someone with admirable qualities like the ones who have been in my life to date.

If you weren't so far away, I'd be knocking your door down. (In a manly and non-creepy legal way of course)
