ahh well the term for that is "road trip!" haha =p

being single has perks, yeah; lots of care-free slacking off time, or pursuing your own interests without having to wonder what the other person might want to do instead. but i don't prefer it in general. that's just my personality. i'm not so averse to it, though, that i'll jump into something with someone who's a bad fit. break-ups probably suck worse. hahaha =p

Sure but I can get attached easily to something I know to be a good thing. I might not let you leave....ever. (WEG)

I am loving this conversation between Lilly and Icarys.  So sweet.

On the issue of the president, I am beginning to wonder if it even matters who gets elected.  Aside from all the special interest groups, there is the brick wall that is the United States Congress.  That entity's sole purpose these days seems to be making sure that nothing gets accomplished.  It would be hard for any president to accomplish any agenda with that albatross around his neck.  Maybe the devil we know is the best we can hope for.

RIP Mark Hatfield, a Republican I truly admired.  How come guys like that aren't getting elected to Congress anymore?

Why isnt K Street on that list?

This is the way political discussions should go.

igor2003 -> RE: Who for President? (8/8/2011 2:21:17 PM)

Obama wasn't the candidate that I would have prefered in the last election, but given the final options he is the one I voted for.  While I don't like a lot of what he has done (or not done) since being elected I still think he was the better choice.  It is looking like 2012 will be a repeat of 2008 for my vote.  I really don't think it is going to make too much difference who is in the White House if the political parties don't ditch this "our way or no way" attitude.

What I'm about to say has nothing to do with what I replied to but I figured you'd see it better this way. :>

I've been meaning to say this..since I was on moderation I figured it could wait this time.

The girl on the left reminds me of a girl I used to go to high-school with. Her name was Amamda. You look JUST like her, same eyes, same facial features, same smile and hair color. The other girl kinda reminds me a little of my sister when she was younger.

That's all.

My thoughts exactly.

that's gotta creep you out just a little, i mean really. [:D]

and as for what amanda, i mean suze [;)], said, i agree, they were so polite and constructive, friendly and flirty about it, you'd think they were fucking canadian or something.

Iamsemisweet -> RE: Who for President? (8/8/2011 3:39:59 PM)

Judging from the results of this poll, Obama definitely has the kinky vote.

HannahLynHeather -> RE: Who for President? (8/8/2011 4:27:36 PM)

well sure, have you looked at michelle? now that's an ass that was built for paddling. [;)]

Why would it? I don't get phased by much anymore.

Icarys -> RE: Who for President? (8/8/2011 7:59:19 PM)

All of this makes me wonder.. Could Republicans be this bad across the board? WTF

LillyBoPeep -> RE: Who for President? (8/8/2011 8:02:23 PM)

certainly seems that way...

That thought strikes me every so often.

Then I think of the Supreme Court.

agreed; it's very frustrating to see the way they're behaving. it's like watching kids pick teams at dodge ball. a lot of very important things are on the line and they're just screwing around posturing.

I don't know, there's a girl in the UK who's profile pops up on occasion when I go to log in, and she looks so much like my daughter that it really causes me to do a double take every time it pops up. I think I would find it a little creepy if she started posting here with a picture of herself as her avatar.
