I dont know, I think perhaps at first Obama was trying, his hair sure got a lot greyer fast... lol I'm not so sure he did try. He caved on Guantanamo and on did a small effort on troops. quote:
The system corrupts, even Sister Teresa wouldnt have made it thru unscathed. That's not entirely true..again Ron Paul.. He's pretty much stood his ground over his terms. Here's what he said in the article he linked. Ron Paul is a doctor in OB/GYN by trade. He is something of a lone wolf in the Congress, earning the nickname "Dr. No" by his fellow Republicans. When the Republicans were looking to build the B-1 bomber, they desperately needed his vote, but despite enormous pressure on him to vote with them, he refused, thinking it to be a waste of money, and another weapon of an imperialist government. He voted against a medal for Mother Teresa, considering such a move to be unconstitutional. He challenged his colleagues to pony up $100 each to mint the medal for her, which they refused, naturally. He then said that it is easy to be generous with other people's money. He is strongly pro-life, and supports repealing federal laws regulating abortion, as he considers it to best be left a state issue. I find that particular one kinda funny. [:D] lol well its one thing being a lone wolf Congressman and imo quite another being the President, having to perform and trading favours for what you need to get passed to meet those election promises... I dunno, not a job I would want!
