No. Not whatsoever, thank you for playing but you are unable to cogitate. let us hang an apple from a tree by means of a string, underneath that apple we will place an upright spear some 10 feet distant. then we give a git a scissor. the string uncut do we have unobstructed free fall? No. cut the string the apple falls, is it free fall, yes (discounting inertia and friction) does it accelerate? yes. it hits the spear, does it come to a complete stop as it impales? (no) does it slow as it meets additional resistance in the guise of the spear shaft? (yes) I say the apple was in free fall when there was no structural component below it. I am absolutely and physically correct. so is the NIST guy, and once again you have your dick in your hands, he did not say what you said he said, he did not lie, in fact he wasnt even in the common sense the least bit wrong...... Absolutely in true technicality (of course) he is a little wrong, there is no 'true' free fall on this planet possible. But like Einstein should have said about Newtons theory of gravity, close enough for the earth girls we go out with.
