It's a cultural thing I guess, our friend got injured because he was in Manchester when it kicked off and couldn't get away, public transportation shut down, he called, my other half went to pick him up, the car is a bit scratched up as they were throwing things on anything that moved, bummer as it's 2 months old but it's a freaking car and not a living thing. It's shocking, true, but it's really really far away from anything that would require martial law, thankfully. The combined UK problems possibly wouldn't register on the scale of the LA riots but would just be a blip.
