Didja miss the big red letters at the top of every c-mail sent that says, and I quote, "DO NOT SEND MONEY TO OTHER USERS FOR ANY REASON!"? There's obviously a reason why it's there. But then, if you choose to ignore it, then no one to blame but yourself. It's called common sense and judgement.

Your profile text looks pretty filled with fantasy, I think you should erase it, learn MUCH more about the lifestyle, then try again with something a bit more realistic-sounding. How hard is it to find a genuine Mistress? *********** If I had to guess, I would say there are about 10 male subs for every Mistress. Might as well learn to be patient and just keep at it. Expecting to fine a Domme you are compatible with right off the bat, I just don't see that as being realistic.

My attitude on this is that you just have to keep at it, be open to any contacts and exploring any possibilities I run into. You never know what might happen. If a person doesn't keep at it, keeps on trying, nothing would ever be accomplished. And in the meantime, I just try to enjoy the process and the experience and get anything useful out of it that I can. Looking at various profiles, reading what different Mistresses have to say, one can learn a whole lot not only about the whole BDSM experience but also about what I would prefer myself. The bottom line is that a person just has to keep at it.

I wouldn't view the profiles on Collarme as a typical BDSM lifestyle experience. 90% if not more of the Domme profiles I see are kids with fantasies. This whole you are a piece of shit attitude and will serve me as I see fit thing is not what I consider to be the BDSM experience. I'd say 1/10 Domme profiles are real people with an actual understanding of the difference between fantasy and reality. For those of you that will pick this apart because that's what you do. I'm NOT saying 1/10 people on CM are real. I'm saying 1/10 Dommes are real AND understand the difference between fantasy and reality.

I changed my settings on the other side (where I pretty much go to check my mail every few days) to Michigan folks, any age/gender/orientation. There are VERY FEW of the red lettered names! VERY few. Of those, half are pro ONLY, and a big chunk of the rest are semi pro/not interested in relationship. Not sure if that has any meaning, just an observation of how things have changed in my area. And thankfully, I get very little spam mail. I kind of gigglesnort when the same guys write to me...like they don't remember talking to the flower lady?

Each time I've done the research on this, I've gotten roughly the same numbers. I'm the first to admit that it's really crude and is very open to flaw. Every time that I have looked at accounts opened in the last twenty-four hour period, the numbers do come in at roughly 10:1. (That's male submissives in the US any age, race, etc compared to female Dominants in the same time frame.) Generally, it's about a hundred males a day compared to roughly ten females that join in that same period. I'm not going to say anything about the content of the ten, because most folks around here can decide such things for themselves. With this in mind, no, not every male submissive is going to find a Dominant on CM. The numbers just don't support it.
