The OP is at her job and the main part of her job is serving the public. If there aren't any people to serve, and everything else that can possibly be done is done, then I really don't see a big problem.

Would it be different if she stood around scratching her ass while comtemplating what to do?
I'm sure she isn't posting while trying to help out clientele at the same time.

Again way to be judgemental people I work in an adult sex store for one and like I said done the to do list and more and there are no customers. Glad my ability as an ample employee is such an entertaining topic. Way to be decent conversationalists people so glad there are lovely people to talk to on here

If you work in an adult sex store -- you can always do a poll on here regarding sex toys and you can say you were putting out feelers as to what people are looking for, like, don't like etc.  

To me, if your boss doesn't care if you are chatting online on an adult site while working then your integrity is intact.  If your boss doesn't know or you are sneaking around and such, then you may want to re-evaluate how you would want an employee to act if you were paying them.   Little mental breaks as Raven spoke about is fine, but spending time online because you are bored at work tells me you need to ask your boss for more to do or suggestions.

But i know a lot of places when they are in a situation like your's they are allowed to do personal stuff, read, be online etc.  So it all depends what your boss allows.

Wow. Looooooootta judgmental people posting here. Apparently they think it's their job to judge you. Might benefit them to take a break from their self imposed role.
