It amazes me that I cant get a direct answer to my question, Lucy.

Then again, I dont think they know who they are supporting in the 2012 election.... but, by god, they are gonna win it!

Tazzy,

I'd say Sarah Palin, but she isn't running..... yet.

Herman Cain is pretty close, so is Michelle Bachmann.

Not sure about the rest. Maybe Rick Perry, but he just entered the race and I haven't had a chance to get a close look at him yet.

I like the "notion" of Rick Perry.  I find myself having to come to grips with Romney because I do not think he is conservative enough by half.

Ahem... and who fits the ideals this time around?

LOLOLOLOL people who aren't clamoring for confiscatory taxation to support welfare recipients?  People who believe that the should be Congressional approval for going to war?  People who believe that we shouldn't be giving foreign aid to countries that are adversarial to the U.S.....in fact....no foreign aid at all for the next few years?  People that believe in a reform of the tax code? People who believe that manufacturing has to be brought back to the U.S. and that will probably take a corporate flat tax but other people have other ideas.  People who believe in less social spending, fewer studies, no pork barrel spending.  People who believe in pension reform. People who want the southern border sealed and then a very stringent guest worker program.

Who opposes the Tea Party, Tazzy?  People on welfare, right?  People who want health care for free, right?  People who want greater entitlement spending, right?  People like you and Eerie and Imperatrix and Owner and Julia and Tweak....right?

Jesus...that's right....and Lucy too. LOLOLOLOL how could I forget???

When you can stop lying, then we can have a discussion... until then... have a great one!

hahahahah...ahhhh...I'm not lying about anything.  I have read your posts.  I know what you stand for.  And you stand for everything I have just said.

We don't have to have a discussion, Tazzy.  Our positions are diametrically opposed.  You are a socialist/communist/leftist whatever and you oppose capitalism.  According to Marx, the two can never be compromised, one must defeat the other.  You want higher taxes.  It doesn't matter that for a lot of people....August 12 was the day of the year that they started earning money for themselves and all of the year prior to that date was spent working for the State, Federal and Local governments.  Nope...you want August 12 to become November 12 as long as it makes YOUR life easier.

We aren't looking for a god like candidate that we can worship based on a slogan like "hope and change".

We have over a year before the election. Some of us like to keep an open mind, watch closely, and get to know the candidates before supporting them and making a commitment to voting for them.

It's easy to say we won't be voting for Obama, we've seen how his failed policies do. Now it's just a matter of, "Who will we vote for instead?"

Indeed. It took three years of Obama to demonstrate that for some people to wake up.

As a conservative (by my own definition), I have long held the position that the Republican party is anything BUT conservative. I am no fan of far left policies (as I have seen them fail in California) where I grew up in the late 60's and 70's. However, I see the utter B.S. that spews from Republicans masquerading as conservatives.

I would vote Republican in a heartbeat if I ever found a conservative one. (Ron Paul is the closest IMO, but he is a bit looney IMO as well)

Here is a table of Republican mantras, what they REALLY mean and what a true conservative (as defined by me of course) position would be.

Thoughts entirely mine.

First, this is all "opinion".  Opinion has little value and much of what is in that chart is not shared by conservatives and even moderate conservatives on this board like Sanity, Heretic, me, TJ, AZBossman, etc.

Second, who gives a shit what republicans stand for.  The Tea Party is about bringing more conservatism into the republican party.  The discussion should not be about what "was" but about "what is to be."

Watch this vid....very funny! :)

You simple fuck. The teabaggers dont exist....it is all Republicans!!!

I think the Tea Party is a response to the feelings behind the chart.

Tea Partiers tend to be more conservative than Republican, which vexes the Republican party to no end. They want to convince people that we should put Republican before Conservative, otherwise, we give the election to people like Barack Obama.

I call BS on stuff like that. Our choice last time, thanks to that failed philosophy, was Obama or McCain. Really? John McCain? No thanks. And turns out, we're better off that Obama got elected. Now everyone can see the clear difference between liberal and conservative ideology.

Excellent post, you are 100% correct.

Except McCain is no conservative, he's a moderate at best, a fucking RINO at least.

Theon, I used the words someone else stated... that the Tea Party was going to win in 2012.

I have yet to state who I am backing in the election.  Nor am I known to follow party lines.

Its a safe bet that I wont be voting for someone who believes that god will decide the outcome of bills.

I do think that the Tea Party will win in 2012.

I don't think that means a particular candidate will win, but instead, the ideals.

The conversation in Washington needs to change. We need to stop spending so much damn money.

This is the platform of the Tea Party and I think more people will be elected to office to put forward this platform than won't.

Oh God...DumbYoungBlack is back.

How fucking stupid.  Yeah...there is no Tea Party which is why "tea party" caused vote splitting amongst republicans.  You are so .......................... blinded by so many things.  Get a job, make some money, see how much of that money gets taken by the government and, believe me, your politics are going to move rightward in a hurry.

LOLOL Ok...Taz....what happens when you sign up for benefits and a lawsuit is pending?  Do you really think I give a fuck?  Look...you said you walk around in an air cast...is that right?  You said you that you are on welfare for the past two years or something....is that right?  You said that you are currently awaiting getting permanent disability....is that right?  If I'm wrong, correct me.  But keep in mind, darling, I have never argued against the disabled getting SUPPORT!!  Ta Daaaaa lololololol Stop confusing me with other people.

The VAST  majority of Americans are NOT disabled, mentally or physically, AND THEY HAVE TO FUCKING WORK!  "oh...but there are no jobs......."  Do are corporate flat tax, make the business climate more conducive to those jobs coming back and people will work.  It is all interconnected, Tazzy, and part of the solution is sealing the southern border.
