Get your facts straight.  Thats not what I said.  I said for some people, it is about race.  Its been evident for years.  It shows in the number of racists blogs.  The number of tweets.  The "boy" comments.  Even the promising college football player who got canned because he posted to his facebook account about grabbing guns because there is a n***** in the WH.

So you can tell all the pretty stories about how you dont see color.  for SOME people, thats all they see.

It wasn't a pretty story. It was a real story, and that's half the fucking problem. SOME do indeed only see color.

A good many of them wear the liberal mantle, because without you folks around to constantly push the button, hell, I just might forget that I should treat all people as people first.

Fuck, all that time in the middle east wasted. I shoulda done like JT thinks I probably already did and just hated muslims because they were... hell fire, not me.

I swear, all the angst you people roll in, it';s a wonder aneurism rates aren't much higher.

Of course I do. Where I don't see it is in any and every debate on this administration until one of you folks brings it in.

Try post 5 or 6, this thread.

I'm not backing out on anything. I'm also not letting you twist words into something they're not. Your exact quote was "but for some it has everything to do with race" which also means, sometimes it's all about race.

Now if you want your words clarified they were in response to someone saying not liking Obama had nothing to do with race, which was in response to Owner's.. I don't even know what to call it... phonetic interpretation of Munk? Maybe? Which anywhere else would be considered racist.. but that's beside the point isn't it?

Into that bandwagon is where I replied to you saying Obama's biggest problem was the same thing that afflicted bush. They both paid/pay too much attention to the fringes, and both sides have freaks running around creating asinine defenses over things that shouldn't be defended.

You want your specific point heard. It's heard taz. It's also not the topic until you make it so, until you twist and turn and squirm 14 ways around a subject to try and prove it must be true.

I stand by what I said. You cannot have a discussion about this administration without one of you fucks turning it into racism.

My fault is that I didn't quote you verbatim. The reality of standing in line walking a mind-walk however is that the memory is filtered through the lens of what led to it. My perception of a good many people here is that indeed, it is all about race. I don't have to read very long or very far to find it either.

And in it, you played the card you play so well in many places, which is derail the argument towards a specific reference rather than address the debate itself. It's because you can't debate the argument and have to find ground where you feel comfortable.

I understand that.

But I have nothing to back away from, nor do I intend to. I said what I meant and that is that Obama's biggest problems are the same as those that Bush had, even though they come from the opposite directions.

As usual, you never admit when you are wrong.  You attributed to all liberals that we continuously play the race card.

Something I have not done.

You then tried to assert that I had played that card, when, in fact, I merely spoke of a truth you later, reluctantly, agreed too.

I have noticed that when conservatives are all painted with the same brush, they go nuts.

Clean your own brushes and we wont have this problem again.
