ORIGINAL: HeatherMcLeather I was wondering who on here is from Australia. Besides just knowing who is from Down Under, I would be interested in knowing how you see us Norte Americanos, do we all seem the same to you, or do you see differences between Americans and Canadians? Also, Aussie rules football, what's with the round field? Aussie here. Differences...? Let's see, except for the Canadians who seem predominantly French, the rest seem the same as Americans. My sister recently returned from a North American holiday (Canada and US) said Americans are way more helpful and friendly than Canadians in general.... Re Aussie rules, welllll, they're really aren't any rules at all. Since most parks here contain oval sporting fields (usually cricket grounds), they simply utilise the entire field. For example, the biggest games are usually played at the MCG - which stands for Melbourne Cricket Ground. For player safety, they tend to mark a boundary line a few metres inside the fence line to (theoretically) take the actual fence out of play. Focus.
