Pheonixpower: it isn't just the spiders. That's the point I was making: EVERY FRELLING THING ON THE ENTIRE CONTINENT IS POISONOUS!

Well except the kangaroos. But those things will punch you. Well, those cuddly little koala bears aren't poisonous. Ask any Aussie what _those_ things will do to you.

ever heard them having sex? the males are strictly rape only.
and the gecko's - working reallly really late on a paper. keep hearing them chirp and then carry on with gecko'y screams. apparently the chirp is the mating call, they like outdoor lights at night. chirp (call the single girls), slurp (eat a moth or two), scream (gecko sex), rinse and repeat. all. night. long.

and you get used to the spiders really quickly. i pretty much ignore them and keep an eye on the big hairy ones when they come indoors (not referring to focus, btw ) and as long as i know where they are, they can stay and eat the other insects.

Aaaaaand that was so much more than I wanted to know about the sex lives of Aussie wildlife.

Funny how they never mention that on Animal Planet.

This is an excellent example of why commas are important.  *adjusts teacher glasses*

..
..except for the Canadians, who seem predominantly French, blah blah blah =  all Canadians seem French - commas surrounding the relative phrase which restates the noun - Canada - prior to it.

..
..except for the Canadians who seem predominantly French blah blah blah = some Canadians seem French - no comma puts the relative noun as a method to differentiate these Canadians from those Canadians.

And people think grammar doesn't matter.  Tut tut!

If we seem sour it's because you Americans are so fucking saccharine.  If you air-kissing motherfuckers had a drop of actual sincerity in your interactions, you'd be like us.

And yes - French-Canadians are also Americans.  A wonderful piece of irony.  So remind Cheri she doesn't get a pass on this.

Ah, the French.  Don't get me started on the fucking French.

Nah, it's just because you don't have enough French girls. There are few things in this world that cannot be improved by the addition of a few French girls.

I should comment that nobody in Canada likes French-Canadians.  Nobody in France likes them either.  You know how the French are famous for their cheese?  Well they're like cheddar.  They don't even speak the language properly.  They're tracers.

French Canadians are brightly burning rounds of ammunition which allow a shooter to correct their aim?  I had no idea!
