You are white, you'd say that

Well, I don't know if that "officially" makes you prejudice, or a bigot, but it certainly makes you closed-minded and intolerant.

Which is enough to definitely identify you as a modern American liberal fundamentalist.

"Perry worships at [Gramm's] feet, intellectually," said one semi-retired political consultant in Austin. "He considers Gramm an economic genius."

You know, the G-man had to be involved somehow.  Parry couldn't craft this up on his own, its waaaay over his head. Gramm is one of the four grandaddy's of our present gambling-based fiscal crisis.

Robert Rubin, the Wall Street intellecual

Larry Summers, "the enforcer", designated arm-twister and body-slammer

Phil Gramm, chief legislative enabler

Alan Greenspan, printing press owner, and dispenser of cheap interest rates to all interested gamblers looking to borrow money to gamble with

America will sleep more at ease when these four are finally euthanized after the peasant revolt.

Better check that out with fargle.  According to him, Christians (at least) worship a false god.

I'm not sure what he thinks of Muslims, or Hindus.  Nothing good, I suspect.

Hell you live in Kentucky look around bubba

I live in an exclusive Atlanta suburb (in Fulton County).

My next door neighbor is a black couple.  The house across the street has a nice Muslim family.  There is an Indian family a couple of house over, and a Puerto Rican family down three house.

We are all successful, and the police treat us all with respect.

It's not primarily about race or nationality, most of the time, any more.  It's about culture and attitude.

My, nice racist statement that flies right in the face of what Dr King was trying to accomplish.

I don't see "Jesus" in the Torah... Must be some unauthorized fan-fiction... Fan-fic can be cool, but it's not canon...

Here's a hint. There's no such thing as "virgin birth", and if you buy into the whole "Jesus" thing, then you sorta-by-defininition have to accept that a real-live-virgin actually brought him to term and delivered him ( who I suppose was married at the time, right -- wonder how Joseph felt that Mary never gave him any pussy... )

I guess "The Virgin Mary" was fucking everyone BUT Joseph, ( Cuckolded by BBC! )

Sorry, but if you believe that, you'll believe anything...

In all seriousness, YBD, and in reference to your post just previous to the one quoted here  ... the facts are the facts.  The reasons for the facts are what is in dispute.

That whole I idea went away fast bubba

Firm, Jews believe that the faith part is not as important as the works part.  When outhere used the word "righteous", she did not mean worshiping properly as much as living a proper life outside of worship.

In the Jewish heaven, there will be folks of all earthly faiths in their previous lives.

So

The same God who reached down and made Adam from some dust he picked up, then reached in and plucked a rib from which he molded Eve couldn't possibly place a child in a Virgin?

You don't have to believe it but by your logic, who is the stupid one here?

Obviously you know as little about the meaning of "Virgin Birth" as you do about "Chosen People".

If it wasn't a racist statement, he would have said "wealthy or upper middle class" and not "white"

Are you going to say that "you live in kentucky..............bubba" is not also racist?

Then you are saying on any given charge that I don't have a better chance of incarceration than firm? come again?

I'd agree that you would be more likely have a chance at incarceration.  But not "just because" you might be black.

More likely due to your attitude, and - perhaps - the culture in which you were raised.

If someone acts like a punk, a gangster, a bad-ass and challenges an authority figure, simple human nature of those figures tends to give less benefit of the doubt.

In other words, I get stopped for failure to register my car, I acknowledge the error, politely apologize and get a ticket that I then go and pay.

Some people get stopped for failure to register their car, take their time about pulling over, insult the cop, act surly, resentful and furtive.  The cop has them step out of the car, call the drug dogs, and then have to verbally and then physically restrain the stopped individual.  That individual get arrested for assault, and goes to jail.  When they are before the judge, they call him a "honky muther fucker" if he is white, or a "unca tom" if he is black.  Judge decides that said individual would benefit from a little more butt fucking in the county jail and gives him a year.

Same situation.  Different responses.

Attitude.

And you will continue to "live in slavery" to your own attitude and racist sentiments.  It's a slavery that you freely accept, but believe is imposed upon you.  And, in a way your are correct, but it is many of the "liberal" sentiments which treat you as something less than a fully capable and responsible adult, keeping you on the "liberal plantation".

Your situation is conditional, but escape-able, except that you attitude keeps you from seeing this, and keeps you imprisoned in your own particular brand of hell.

Life is not easy.  People are people.  Success is never guaranteed, but failure can be and is almost certainly guaranteed with your type of attitude.  You burn with envy and hatred.

Color of skin is a factor in everyone's life.  So is height.  So is sex or gender.  So is geographical location.  So is the economy.  So is the level of "beauty" or "ugliness".  So is the level of intelligence.  So is age.

We all have only a certain number of factors about ourselves that we can change.  Anything else, we must adapt to.

Attitude is one of those things we can change, and has one of the biggest impacts - in the US at least - in how close we come to "success" in our life, and in how we are perceived and treated by others.
