I have not seen anything scientific that say that, and quite honestly, I would never believe a rancher about something like that. But you know what does kill livestock for fun? Packs of dogs. Now that I have seen.

And not all dogs kill livestock for sport. Never said they did. Border collies and Australian shepherds, the ranch dogs of choice, are really good at it though. A lot of what ranchers claim isnwolf and coyote predation is more likely dogs packing up. You did know that ranchers are compensated for livestock kills purported to be by wolves, right?
