Whatever. Why people insist on breeding and keeping wild (or semi wild) animals as pets is beyond me. It is bad for wildlife and humans alike. Fortunately we were able to zone out the keeping of exotic pets in my area, but I suppose stupidity knows no boundaries. I am sure the "breeders" just went somewhere else.

ITS not the hybreds, its the fools that own them or the fools that sell a dog to anyone with cash,I screen all that inquire about a dog including doing back ground checks.I wish you could see my two young daughter who use them for playmates every day,NO its not the crosses but the fools who buy them..B

Case in point, the invasion of exotic snakes in South Florida, particularly the Burmese python. Hurricane Andrew is given at least partial credit for the spread when a breeding facility was destroyed during the storm, but notably missing were the inhabitants.

Looks like Florida would have learned a lesson. What.. two weeks ago I watched a show on Animal Planet where wild life officers were returning captured snakes to another breeding facility, also in Florida. All we need is another Andrew.

This same debate is happening here in Wisconsin. The wolf population is doing a lot of damage to livestock and the deer population in northern Wisconsin.

Hold on there buddy. You can make up all kinds of bullshit but try to at least stay close to reality.

Fact, last year only 63 cattle were killed by wolves in Wisconsin.
http://howlcolorado.org/2011/02/17/wisconsin-releases-wolf-livestock-predation-numbers/

Fact, in 2000, most recent year I can find numbers for, there were 3.4 million cattle in Wisconsin.
http://www.allcountries.org/uscensus/1139_cattle_and_calves_number_production_and.html

So unless the cattle population in the state has declined by several orders of magnitude in the last 11 years, wolves last year took 0.002% of the state's cattle.

As to the deer in northern Wisconsin, wolves are deers natural predators and the two will achieve a stable population level for each. Since wolves are presently far more rare than they were when Europeans entered the state the amount of predation poses no threat to the present stability of the deer herd. As a matter of fact CWD is a much bigger threat and the one Wisconsin is seriously concentrating on.

No one had thought of using a tazer.    and drugs to make them docile...  sort of how they do to humans.

Quick question, hunky, has that pharmacy near you been able to fill your scrip yet? I know you were saying earlier they couldn't. You've been a tad more erratic than normal.

The only med that the ins will pay for-  is being discontinued.  So no.   Sadly.
