Hi all i have been in this lifestyle for a number of years now , and i have trained and introduce a few subs to this life , so i think i have a good idea of what i am doing ,, but a problem seems to have developed , and i am puzzled ,, i have written to a few subs that are on here and all i am getting is deleted and unread , i am not abusive i am polite , but i am tentative when i first get talking , because i have come across a lot of subs on here only want to play there fantasies out in there heads but run when faced with the prospect of actually meeting , or the other thing i have been getting is women from africa ( nigira ) who get talking to you then ask you for money to relocate ( even tho there profile says UK ) ,,, but my point is ,, why is it that i am getting a lot and i mean a lot of deleted / unread !!!

There is a neat little feature that allows one to hover over an unopened
email to read a portion of it, or its entirety if it's just a brief message.
So in truth, they are most likely reading your mail, but, as rude as some may find this,
they are finding nothing of interest in it that inspires them to respond.

Hi, Jim.

All right, you asked.

1. The first paragraph of your profile is whiny, and the refrain of "no real slaves" is a common complaint by lots of men.
2. The second paragraph of your profile is off-putting.
3. You claim to be highly experienced, especially with rope and suspension bondage, but confuse being a slave with a rope bottom.  You also seem to believe that play equates to training and state that as soon as play begins, no safewording will be allowed.

Maybe some others think that you are dangerous as hell.

When I was looking, I would straight away look at the sender's profile to see if there was any kind of match. Yours starts by complaining about fakes, then goes on to suggest you're looking for multiple women for casual play.

Plus, you have pics of previous partners in very revealing poses. Again, something I find distasteful and the thought running through my head would be "would that be my pic up there next, showing my bits to the world?"

If I'd received a message from you, however friendly and/or innocuous, I would not have replied either. Or on a good day I'd have given you the "thanks but no thanks" message.

I'm with Stevie, the parts of your profile that aren't whiny just sound like any of thousands of profiles out there. There is nothing to distinguish you from all the other men claiming to be dominant and experienced.

Maybe you should rewrite your profile leaving out the negative stuff and write more about YOU as a person and add stuff that tells us why we want to contact you.

nothing to add but echoes of what has already been said..

I mean, a profile (if it's meant to attract someone) should give a decent idea of WHY that someone should be attracted to YOU and not the umpteenumpity # of other members, many of which make the same generic claims of experienced! I've trained/owned/blah blah blah X number of subs/slaves!! I am uberdomlydude!

polite dont mean shit if the profile could be easily switched with anyone elses.

I don't have MSN. I don't have any plans on getting MSN as all my friends have Yahoo. Guess we are all fakes and not real true people like you and everyone else who use MSN. I would guess all the scammers will be rushing to download MSN. MSN will give them the real true stamp of approval.

What Peppermint said [:)] Just a while ago I was in touch with a guy from another page who demanded from me to give him my number...I politely replied to him that I don't give out my number until we know a bit more about each other...cause quite frankly what is the point of giving out my number when we then realise over the phone, that we aren't compatible anyway?

Now, he was not interested to talk at first more via email...to get to know each other better....fair enough...but quite frankly I was not interested in handing out my phone number like a bowl of salad either....and so we parted [:)]

Personally I am not fond of MSN and phone urgently...there is a lot which can be figured out at first via email, before giving out such stuff....but thats just me [:)]

If I read your profile before opening your mail (which I usually do), I'd delete your mail unread.  People who have negative statements in their profile, especially as the opening line, immediately turn me off.  I don't use MSN, and would immediately respect your wishes and not bother - ie delete unread your messages. Hey, you asked people to not bother, why should they?

The first part of your profile comes off as very angry.  That's going to put off some subs who are looking for a man of strength.  Keeping your anger under control is, for me, an important part of dominating another person.  Accusing people you don't even know yet of being fake and telling them not to contact you if they don't have MSN seems kind of petty.

Hmm....welcome to the boards.

I will say that to a newbie or someone not into extreme play, that second photo on your profile of a girls behind looking like hamburger would be off putting. I am looking for D/s or M/s, not to be bruised to that extent or to have my butt on a public website. Others may feel the same way.

Also, I am not a player, many in the community and here on cm have met me, yet I hate msn. I only use yahoo. By your definition, therefore I am a player.

There is zero in your profile about vanilla likes, etc. Nothing about what you are looking for except willing females interested in X type of play who have msn.

You are cute but that just is not enough these days.

I'd like to start out by saying that if I were looking for a man and I saw this thread first before your profile, which I did, I'd be somewhat intererested in you. You seem to be rather polite here about putting forth your inquiry, and I like the way you look. I have a preference for biker types. You're also in my age range. So there would be enough interest there that I'd be wondering in a positive manner about you.

I don't know what you're writing in the emails so I can't address that specifically, but in general, if a man comes in and first thing wants to talk sex and/or kink (even if he does it politely) I am no longer interested. I'd assume we are incompatible and I'd delete his email. Many women find a non-response to be the best way to deal with men they do not feel a connection with, if they respond to say No Thanks, they are subject to abusive nastiness in return in the form of retaliation. The retaliation happens fairly often so they just don't respond.

If they saw your profile first, they might be deleting these emails on the basis of that and not on the email content. I said earlier that I would have an interest in you if I did not see the profile, after seeing your profile I would no longer have any interest. It's very negative, I am not interested in dealing with that. It is basically only about sex/kink, I'd be looking for more than that. You seem to be looking for multiple partners, I do not want that. The blurb about MSN being the only thing to use is just silly, I use yahoo- guess I'm a player. Wtf? I'd be open to adding MSN for someone but not if they approached it the way you do. In a nutshell, the impression you put forth in your profile is of a man I would not be interested in and I'd act accordingly and remove your email.

One more thing...who are you approaching? Young, gorgeous women? They have a lot of offers and may see your basic stats and just move on. Women here in general recieve a lot of interest, perhaps some of these women are already interested in someone else and just clean out their other email.

PS...had to come back to say knock it off with the pictures of other women. Yuck. If I saw nothing but the fact that you had those up I'd pass you by so fast your head would spin. It's tacky to the extreme to put up other women, I'd wonder if my pic would be up there someday, and the play you seem interested in seems abusive. I'm interested in neither.
