Status: offline 		Cultural background?  How does the colour of one's skin relate to that in any way? Is a caucasian from Canada in any way culturally related to a caucasian from Russia or Peru?

2) Warf's orange klingon equivalent in the original Star Trek is proof of the notion that skin tone is a transitory phenomenon that should not be listed on any profiles.

BTW IMO, just do away with the dropdown and let people fill it in, ummmmm, if they can spell their race that is...... I mean I know you don't have to be able to spell your own name here but, come on.

Status: offline 		I actually hate the whole ethnicity thing. We now live in a world were everyone(or almost everyone) says not to be racists. Don't judge folks because of colour, background, economics, etc. If people really want that to happen they should stop putting tags that are based on race on themselves. On forms I normally write in "None of the above" (there is only one I actually fill out) even though I do know my background I don't see what it matters on most things.
