I would like it if, when I use Fast Reply, that it say so in the "Reply To" section of my post instead of showing me as replying to the person above me. Sometimes it's nice to just comment in general on a thread without having to scroll back to specifically reply to the OP. While the idea of a "Newbie" section in content is a good one, personally, I find the word "Newbie" to be insulting, and I don't just mean here and/or in BDSM. I hate the word. It's babyish, and if I were a new poster and saw a forum titled Newbie anything I would be turned off by it. I know it's commonly used, but that is just my feeling on it. I do like the idea of a completely un-moderated thread. A "fuck it all" thread, but...I think there must be reasons why we have moderators in the first place. I mean, of course, we want to keep the conversation on track, but if somebody starts to post anything illegal (such as child-related stuff) or hate crime stuff or anything, CollarMe must have some sort of liability/responsibility there...maybe...I think. So completely un-moderated just couldn't be. (Unless I'm wrong...but that's the thought that crossed my mind.) I would like to be able to "subscribe" to certain people. (And if there's already a way to do this, then please let me know.) There are two or three people who I always look for in my search feature. I know we can subscribe to threads here and to journals on the other side. How about to certain posters? And maybe subscribe is the wrong word. I mean more of a notification when I come to the boards to tell me that my favorite users have posted a message, and where they are. I, too, would be willing to pay for the use of the site, but I don't think it should be mandatory. Maybe paid subscribers can have some extras (such as the ability to subscribe to certain posters). I don't think there should be any distinction that anyone else could tell if I have paid or not...all should look the same to everybody. But I certainly use the forums enough that I think it would be reasonable to give something back. And finally, I think that anyone who deliberately uses language in their posts resembling the text in those annoying pictures depicting cats uttering grammatically incoherent sentences with multiple spelling errors and words with lots of z's in them should be banned. I think that should be part of the TOS.
