My I.Q. is at least 112.

However, I suspect that you confuse high I.Q. genius with low I.Q. super-genius. The higher someone's I.Q. is, the dumber they generally are in my experience. (Though high I.Q. people can do stuff that I cannot.)

Let me tell you an anecdote: Seven years ago I had dinner with a friend X in a restaurant. He confided in me that he had an I.Q. of 172. "Gee," I said admiringly to my friend, "that is even one point higher than the I.Q. of my friend Y. My own is at least 112". He was shocked, flabbergasted, and could not believe it. Nor did he ever notice my stipulation.

Four years later we had a vehement falling out, ending our friendship, which he valued at less than 75 euro, and - having forgotten what he said during that dinner - he said to me: "Even I, with my 153 I.Q., cannot comprehend what you do". But I remembered his assertion during our dinner. He had desired to be seen in my eyes as an intellectual equal and for that reason had elevated his asserted I.Q. by 19 non-scored points. It was an attempt that was utterly in vain, for I then already considered high I.Q. people my intellectual inferiors and I did not think more of him because of his asserted high I.Q., but less.

Let's see if I can remember the things I'd like to see. LOL

I'd love for the Polls & Random S____to return to "Stupidity". My understanding is that it got changed because some posters got their feewings hurted. I thought that Stupidity was a better descriptor than Snippets.

If one is trying to do away with people's complaints about ageism, why would you have separate forums for people of certain ages??? I'm one of the oldest regular posters here, if not *the* oldest, and in my experience, the best way to combat ageism is to mix people of various ages so that they can all discover what is good about each other.

I agree with the Games leaving the Humor forum. I never go there anymore because I am not interested in playing the games.

I also think that the Polls should be in the forum of their subject matter; i.e.: a political poll should be allowed in P&R.

I'd like the ability to hide entire threads, as long as we're wishing. LOL

I'd also like a limit on the number of threads one person can start in a given time.
