Come on, Nazi references are a bit far fetched in this discussion. Violent type rhetoric is an American thing and back when Gabby Giffords was shot the left was bitchin all over the place about violent rhetoric and now they can't seem to help using it themselves. It's hypocrisy at it's finest.

 As for war dissenters, they went a long ways toward helping the enemy with their propaganda campaign. I would in no way refer to them as traitors, useful idiots would be a better term.

Yes you are wrong. Though I like guns and know how to use them I would avoid their use as though I didn't have one.  I'm generally polite.  I'm not sayin I wouldn't stand my ground in my own home or defend myself or my loved ones in certain situations.


I'm relieved - and delighted - to hear I'm wrong in this instance luvmuffin.

However lest you convey the wrong impression in future, don't you feel it might be an idea to leave rhetoric such as "When the libs come out swingin their dicks the cons will blow them away." at home in future?

It's fine to have a position and an opinion and to defend it. But "blow[ing people] away" is a little over the top wouldn't you agree? Had I never heard such sentiments I'd have no reason to connect them with you, or your politics would I - no cause for concern at all?

  Sczheeeeesh, fine tune your sense of humor. I was responding to an equally facetious post and they should have both obviously been  perceived as such. I mean really, do ya think all the politicians are going to meet for a prearranged fight with their preferred weapon ? 

And in case you can't figure it out, the political connection would imply that I lean to the right. Other than that there is no cause for concern.

Status: offline 		You probably hit a real nerve, that being those who adamantly oppose gun ownership basically rely on people with guns to let them keep running their mouths.

Like I told a guy in Boston once who was railing about the military. I'm one of the people who are charged with preventing nuclear weapons from raining down on the US. Keep running your fucking mouth and maybe I'll look the other way if I see it heading to Boston.

Not that I would have. But it was funny to watch him stammer.

We can't afford both Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid and an all powerful, all controlling federal government with unconstitutional agencies that drani the taxpaers of trillions of dollars over decades. Do we have to hold a 2x4 over your head before you will admit we can't afford both.

For myself, I choose Social Security, and the half the federal government can be in the unemployment lines with the rest of us.

I know what Hoffa said. I watched a good bit of his speech. Then I get to watch you, fargle and Sanity involve yourselves in a bitch fest over three words. It's like seriously? I get to read about the lack of respect and people just falling all over themselves to pander to some idea that respect is gone because Obama's black, then watch a guy screaming son of a bitches at a rally where Obama is to speak, and what we get out of it is three fucking words we're gonna fight about all day and all night?

What was said after Overmann cut that video short? What is the full context.

Even if you and Keith arent lying about what was said, that video was from April of 2010, prior to Gabby Giffirds getting shot by that deranged leftist.


And Bachman is practically a nobody. She isnt the president, she wasnt introducing the president, and she didnt give a blubbering speech a few months prior to that pleading for a "new tone" and "civility" in our public discourse, like Obama did.

Final thing - Hoffa was introducing Obama with that speech threatening the Tea Party, and Obama just grinned that stupid grin of his

The White House and the DNC both refused to comment on it

So much for Obamas "new tone" speech, or any of his hollow meaningless rhetoric.

And is he really so stupid he had no clue beforehand or afterward what was in the famed teamster goons speech?
