They are in the very same place they were to begin with------> In their chair in front of the computer in their mothers basement. Never to see the light of day again ...with perhaps the exception of a Star Wars or Star Trek convention.

I would disagree JanahX, not everyone who gets disillusioned on CM lacks a real and valid life, anyone who has been here for any length of time knows that for every real person here, there are 20 scammers, generally dishonest people or just plain incompatible people to what you may happen to be looking for. This site just like any other social network works to varying degrees. I think that's a broad brush you're painting with.

I run a company, interview in the media fairly frequently and have quite a lot going on in my life, and I've been on CM on and off for quite a long time. I've met some people here, had a few relationships that started here and elsewhere, but what goes on when I'm not on here is far from a Star Trek convention.

At least some of them - men and women - stay in Fntasyland (apologies to Disney - but hey he had those dwarves with Snow White). When you encounter them in real time, nothing quite matches up to their fantasy ideal.

I've never gotten disillusioned simply because I gave up porn when I started having real sex.
Now I use porn as homework and try new things.
But more recently I just see older women and learn from them,
Other than that I have little trouble making fantasy reality.
