ORIGINAL: Lucylastic Has anyone found said mother and child or even medical records? no matter what the CDC or WHO says, it doesnt change the fact that she is lying and got caught out... when are these dumbarsed pols going to get it into their tiny minds that if they lie, they are gonna catch flack for it, these days, yes everyone is watching every word.on ALLLLLL sides. Trying to make out she isnt a doctor is really a pathetic excuse. The quicker they learn the better. Of course no one has found the mother or child. They don't exist. With the state of the anti vax movement in the US anyone who could actually back up such a claim would be all over the media and would be a cause celebre of the nutcases. You have no clue whether they exist or not. What you have, is what you always have, that being a run into a discussion throwing bullshit statements out as fact. Assume mother does exist. Give me one good reason she should come forward. Give me one good reason Bachmann should out her, assuming for one minute she even knew the woman's name. If the woman does exist, what she and her family will be subjected to is withering derision from people like you. She, her children, anyone associated with her will be painted as stupid, as liars, with lines of pseudo-scientists snickering in the background - regardless of whether or not her claim is true, or even if her perception of her claim is true. Because there will be no wait to to test its validity. What there will be is a tsunami of criticism and hate directed at her and her family. Coming forward, in an election year, to be the pawn of pundits, assholes, and comedians would be insane. The bigger stupid quote from Bachmann is about inoculations anyway. And to have innocent little 12-year-old girls be forced to have a government injection through an executive order is just flat out wrong Ignores the fact that every state requires vaccinations. Every person here has had them. Every person here who has a child has taken them in for their shots. Whether or not this vaccine should be mandatory is for another debate. The CDC has been accused of ignoring reports of suspected reactions to the drug. A host of stories and studies is available from the National Vaccine Information Center's page on gardasil. http://www.nvic.org/vaccines-and-diseases/HPV.aspx NVIC carries it's own baggage but has been instrumental in helping to establish a federal vaccine injury program, and the national childhood vaccine injury act. From wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Vaccine_Information_Center Couple of stories from their site - there are many more. These are just two. http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2009/02/06/eveningnews/main4781658.shtml http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2009/08/19/cbsnews_investigates/main5253431.shtml Quote from their site Gardasil vaccine was fast tracked to licensure by the Food and Drug Administration in 2006.2 It contains genetically engineered virus-like protein particles (VLPs) and aluminum, 3,4,5 which affect immune function. 6,7,8 The exact mechanism of protection is unknown and the vaccine has not been evaluated for the potential to cause cancer or be toxic to the genes.10 It is a vaccine that, by the summer of 2009, already caused more than 15,000 thousand reports of vaccine reactions, including more than 3,000 injuries and 48 deaths.11 14 of the girls who died after getting Gardasil were under age 16 just like Gabrielle. At the National Vaccine Information, we issued our first press release in the summer of 2006 warning parents that Gardasil had not been adequately tested in young girls before government health officials recommended that all 11 and 12 year old girls get three doses of the vaccine.12 Merck only studied Gardasil in fewer than 1200 girls under age 16 and followed them up for about two years before lobbyists tried, unsuccessfully in 2007, to get the vaccine mandated for all sixth grade girls in every state. What we honestly have is a drug that has had limited testing and has no long term history - which makes me wonder if in 10 years I'll be seeing those "If you or anyone you know took the drug garadasil, contact Friedman and Roy. You may be entitled to financial compensation" type commercials. Edited to add.. I consulted at a medical college in the Northeast a few years ago. Sign out front read: Exercise will allow you to die healthy. Maybe it's just the northeast that draws my attention to signs. Have another from Philadelphia of a STOP sign, with another sign posted just below it that reads, No Stopping at any time. And the wonderful Planned Parenthood office in East Boston that evidently suffered a broken door up front. Sign read, (just under Planned Parenthood), Use rear entrance.
