Which would you rather have?  SusanofO and I in our lovely new underwear or a Big Mac? [;)]

I know...Decisions, decisions.

And why does this thread keep getting resurrected?

SensualNSadistic -> RE: subs and slaves weight? (8/23/2006 5:52:30 AM)

Personally, I like a woman with a  figure and good looks. It doesn't matter if she weighs 100 or 190, as long as she looks good, carries herself well, and is healthy. I admit I tend to go for the lighter weight women ( <100 - 140 ), mainly due to the fact That I don't weigh that much, and there are things I like to do that is more difficult with a heavier woman. That doesn't mean I don't have attractions for heavier ones though, they just aren't my preference. Those who are just out of sight obese ( whether it is from natural causes such as thyroid problems or lack of self esteem, or just laziness ) I would not get involved with in any way other than friends, but I wouldn't hold it against them in a personal way, or make derogatory comments toward them. They are still human beings and deserve some respect.

The sexiest chic I ever met was overweight when I first laid eyes on her.

She's gained since and I swear she gets sexier every day.

I want to ask a question. This is going to be a touchy subject. I will say now that I mean absolutely no disrespect in anything I say or ask. I just want to understand. I am trying to figure out why so many sub's and slaves are overweight. I am a little bit, meaning like 35# overweight for me. But there are sooo many that I have met, and see on the computer that have serious weight issues. Master and I have worked out a routine for this girl to lose this weight because of my self esteem and health issues. Well and because Master hates fat ppl.

We all have preferences I suppose, but the body is really just a package - the soul that's wrapped up in it is much more interesting. Now I like skinny women, you can really pick 'em and fling 'em around, but it's the slightly chubby ones that really make make heart go pitter patter, something about a big,  ripe ass, and a bit of a curve to the belly just turns me right on.

I'm not sure I can really control that, physicially, and I'd never turn somebody down just because they were obese, if they really wanted me to help them out, but like I said, you're attracted to a body maybe, but it's the person you have to live with, so attitude goes a long way with me, and can more than make up for any real or imagined physical imperfections.

I actually have the opposite problem, nobody takes me seriously because I'm so skinny - I'm actually very strong, always have been, I have mesomorph arms on a sort of ecto-meso body, and I'm very tall, which makes me look thinner. I can put on weight, but don't like working out - since I work in a very labor intensive occupation, extra muscles tend to just slow you down and burn more oxygen and calories. I'm as strong as I need to be, and I get plenty of workout on the job - try digging foundations through head sized rocks and tree roots, swinging a hammer all day, humping 50 or 60 sheets of 4x8 onto a roof, then follow with a couple of thousand tiles - I burn calories very efficiently, and applying proper techique, I work bigger and younger men into the ground regularly. Might not be pretty, but it works.

There is a distinct pattern of predjudice on the part of mesomorphs - in fact different body types have distinct psychological profiles, and for all my speed and stamina, I still get meso's trying to get chesty with me, I've had more of a few of them simply bounce off of me because I'm a lot mroe solid than I look at first glance - I look a lot skinnier with clothes on for some reason.

Anyway, that's my sad story, and possibly on reason why I've learned to look a little more closely at people, and not let any initial predjudices color my judgement, but to give them a chance - meso's included. [:@]

For various reasons, I've also come to be a bit of an amateur expert on sports morphology, nutrition and excersize, and if somebody wanted to lose weight, for their own reasons, I could devise a rational training program - nothing very sexy about those anorexic sticks that go around feinting all the time - gimme a ripe little Tomato any old day. Actually, I just had this conversation the other day with a rather large fellow over a microbrew, and we both reached the same conclusion - big girl = big appetites... [;)]

I just bicycled back from the gym, so I'm not feeling too sympathetic to the "wide loads" today.

ROTFLMAO!

For all the sadists out there... having to listen to this song for any length of time would be punishment indeed.  [:D]

Heh, don't make me break out the military training... Little SEAL workout anybody? Just few calisthenics...

No, I wasn't a SEAL., but everybody had to go through one SEAL workout, a real eye opener. My methods are more... insidious...

I have two friends that are considered grossly obese, these two are both female. One reminds me of that heavy set nymp cartoon in playboy. She's stunning to look at. The other one, well, she's just so damn cute and has a fantastic personality, she has more personal friends than any person I know, everyone loves her alot. They both have no problem getting men, and they're good looking too.

-Just speculation at this point- not to anyone in particular.
Not everyone was blessed with perfect genes. One person can sit beside another, eat the same meals, do the same exercises, be the same height and body type, yet one will gain weight and the other will maintain their perfect figure.
Now, I may be wrong about this, it's been years since I looked into it and I may be remembering it wrong, but
in my generation, it was the thing to have nice fat chubby little babies..fat cells all nice and plumped up and multiplying. Those don't go away. Not only do the fat cells get bigger, you get more of them. Now there's LOTS of storage places for the body to store any extra little thing it can get it's hands on and they're greedy hungry little things.
I'm pretty sure that it's harder to loose and maintain weight loss, than to maintain a body that has always been slim and has perfect genes to back it up.
I notice that they're telling parents not to plump up their babies into fat little butterballs anymore, like they used to.
That usually just set the child up for a lifetime of fighting weight issues.
I don't know why my one niece is as skinny as a rail (as three other are) she hardly does anything at all to burn a calorie, eats everything under the sun and has trouble trying to gain an ounce. He sister a year younger, eating just about the same things, runs around doing stuff all the time and is a little pudgy, and the sister, one year younger than that joggs everyday, watches her diet closely, eats healthy and keeps a close watch on everything, or she starts racking on the pounds. Same father, same mother.
It's a good thing there's someone out there for everyone.
(looking off in the distance wondering where the heck mine is)

Aine -> RE: subs and slaves weight? (9/23/2006 4:35:41 PM)

I can't believe people are still responding to this one...

popeye1250 -> RE: subs and slaves weight? (9/23/2006 4:54:24 PM)

Aine, this keeps popping up from time to time.
We had a Homeowners Association meeting here today and my neighbor and fellow condo owner who had a heart attack and by-pass surgery a while back was there and she looked much better.
She looks like she lost 50-60 pounds and she told me she can get around a lot better without all that extra weight.
She told me; "Once I loose all this weight I'll never be fat again! I came that close to dying because of it and I never had any type of warning whatsoever except my doctor telling me to lose weight."

Aine -> RE: subs and slaves weight? (9/23/2006 5:01:07 PM)

Where did I ever say I want people to be fat?  I never did. I'm all for being more healthy. I, myself am working on losing some weight and eating more healthy.  I just think we're all beating a dead....very dead, horse and I think the boards need a change of topic for a while.  Is that so much to ask?

squikiewheel -> RE: subs and slaves weight? (9/23/2006 5:18:00 PM)

I have found that this lifestyle is based less on the physical and more on the intelligical and emotional. Having said that I too am overweight but my Dom has been encouraging me to eat better. His words "I want you to be healthy." He aske me to get rid of certain food items in my diet as a part of my submissive training and in so doing I have lost weight, gained more energy and pleased my Dom. That's not to say I am anywhere near skinny but he cares for me the way I am and that is a type of encouragement all in it's own.

Having said all that, I must agree with most here. Magazines, movies, TV, have forced a reprogramming on our ability to love ourselves for who we are instead of how we look. For example, I am from a German background. No matter how much weight I have lost, I will always look a little stocky. Yea!, Me because I come from hardy, strong minded people. I hold a college degree, excellent place in my company and the community. How could I know be proud of myself. I look in the mirror, (flab and all) and love me!!!

You could do worse than feel the same!! Love yourself first and others will feel your confidence and be amazed.

Level -> RE: subs and slaves weight? (9/23/2006 5:18:14 PM)

Aine, he didn't say you said anything about "wanting people to be fat".

Aine -> RE: subs and slaves weight? (9/23/2006 5:35:33 PM)

But every time he gets on me, or anyone for that matter, about when I say we're beating a dead horse with this subject, this is what it makes me feel.  I'm not advocating unhealthiness or cheering on fat people.  I applaud that the person he just spoke about is doing better after their ordeal and is vowing to be more healthy now.

But honestly, what relevance did it have to what I said?

Level -> RE: subs and slaves weight? (9/23/2006 5:42:23 PM)

I certainly don't see him as "getting on" you with his statement; of course, you will feel whatever it is you feel.

His statement wasn't relevant, but I think it's his way of making conversation. Come speak for yourself, popeye lol.

Aine -> RE: subs and slaves weight? (9/23/2006 5:55:57 PM)

I mention "getting on" as a bit of a reference to other threads that have gone off on the "fat" tangent and when I sqeak in a comment about steering the topic in a different direction other than -just- the "fat" issue, it seems that many get offended or at the least mildly irked at my honest request.  Though sometimes not so mildly stated, as popeye knows lol.  *grins to popeye*

popeye1250 -> RE: subs and slaves weight? (9/23/2006 5:57:20 PM)

Aine, that story wasn't germaine to the thread nor was it directed at you.
I just thought I'd put it in to encourage people who are obese.

Aine -> RE: subs and slaves weight? (9/23/2006 6:00:15 PM)

Well, considering your post started with a comment directed towards me, with my name specifically included.....granted it's an assumption, to me it was a logical and sane assumption to think that the rest of it was directed at me as well.  Am I wrong in that line of thinking?

But now knowing that is was supposed to be a seperate comment, no harm, no foul.
