I mention "getting on" as a bit of a reference to other threads that have gone off on the "fat" tangent and when I sqeak in a comment about steering the topic in a different direction other than -just- the "fat" issue, it seems that many get offended or at the least mildly irked at my honest request.  Though sometimes not so mildly stated, as popeye knows lol.  *grins to popeye*

Ah, I see. Well, you have the right to speak you mind, and you aren't the only one that would like to see some of the fat threads go away (along with some of the ones saying 9/11 was an inside job, and ones on subs vs slaves lol).

dreamscape -> RE: subs and slaves weight? (9/23/2006 6:36:26 PM)

I've been following this thread, and decided to finally put my 3 cents in.

I am overweight, and I am 6ft even.   Do I like weighing so much, not particularly, but there are a few reasons that I weight what I weigh, first and foremost being that I have PCOS.  I came into this lifestyle because I am submissive and I enjoy it. I didn't come here because I hate who and what I am, or because my weight excluded me from "real relationships".   My reasoning has always been, "if ya don't like me, then don't look".  I dont have a gun against anyones head. I will always be working on my body, primarily for health issues, but I am comfortable with who I am, and that is what truly matters.

bignipples2share -> RE: subs and slaves weight? (9/23/2006 7:23:34 PM)

I get on the forums sporadically, sometimes I'm able to come in for long hours in a day, sometimes a couple of days in a row, at other times, not for a week and then for only a short while. I don't think responding to a comment that is a week old is too long of a time frame.
Yeah, this topic has been beaten to death, but it's gonna be re-named by someone and pop back up shortly anyway LOL

___ To those that are trying to loose, trying to gain, eat healthier, whatever the case may be, good luck to you and keep up the good work___

My dom is 6'4", a triatathelete, a professor in university, and likes my out of shape size 14 body. I am working on slimming just to size 10, but he has never been critical. He loves my curves and even my somewhat flat fanny. I am sensual, sexy, sweet, playful, and intelligent. At first, when i am naked infront of him, i feel shy and embarrassed, but as he interacts with me, i lose shyness, my reserve and bloom for him, become his slut. He loves it and going animilasitc on me.

Sinergy -> RE: subs and slaves weight? (9/24/2006 8:58:34 PM)

Hello A/all,

I am 43 years old.  6'1, rather athletic, and weigh 209 pounds.

I feel overweight and out of shape.

I guess my point is that health reasons are personal.  If the person I am with feels overweight, I will do what needs to be done to help her get in shape.  But it is not really my problem.  I dont have much issue with weight; I am not trying to debate correllated carbon dating or trashing Marxism with her fat cells.

I suppose I am probably wrong, but there you go.

According to you (and my mother) I am overweight.  According to my Beloved, and my most recent ex-boyfriend, I am sexy.  Some men like a little meat on the bone.  I am healthy; neither my doctor nor I am concerned about my weight.

Different people are attracted to different body types and I think you will see that all body types are fairly well represented in all lifestyle categories.  There are number of full figured Dommes out there, just as there are thin sub/slaves.  Personally, I like very tall men.  I was fortunate to find a tall Dom who likes short curvy women.

Why do you assume that everyone that has a few extra pounds is unhappy with that?  I am not saying that there are not people out their that would like to lose weight, but many heavy people live productive, happy, healthy, and sexy lives.  Weight is not always the issue that you are making it out to be.  You seem very angry about seeing other sub/slaves that are heavier than you.  Like somehow it reflects badly on you to be associated with them.  For a lot of those women, their weight is not an issue, why are you making it yours?

First off, I am proud you lost weight because its a hard thing to do. And your post intrests me because I've noticed it to.

I personally, will never be 120lbs. No one in my family is skinny and the one cousin who got surgery looks so gross. My family's got thick bones that are extremely hard to break. Haha... so none of us really look good below 160. Also, my breasts stick out farther then my stomach [ I've got more fat in my hips, thighs, butt and breasts then anywhere else. ] Do a lot of the sub/slaves have body types like mine? No one in my family has had health problems related to weight.. We're all pretty active. I go to the gym a lot.. and do a lot of running around at my job. Its hard to drop weight though. I would like to lose more weight but I never plan to be my target weight [ Which is 105lbs for my height ]

As for why so many are in the lifestyle... I think it might be because of acceptence. Highschool was hard if you we're a skinny cheerleader. [ Or thats what Im told. I had plenty of friends in my eyes and could have cared less if they were popular or not. At least they didnt gossip about me behind my back like I've heard so many cheerleaders do! ]

I guess its all about being happy for yourself. It shouldnt have to be your target weight because thats what health and beauty magz say, but at the same time I agree that if your weight is so bad you can't walk, have trouble breathing, have such little energy and ect that you should really consult a doctor or get a gym membership. We don't all need to be perfect but we should at least all be healthy. And no, I dont encourage you smoke to lose weight.. thats worse then being fat!

Koukei -> RE: subs and slaves weight? (9/24/2006 10:07:12 PM)

Quoted the wrong person! Sorry!

CuriouslyKat -> RE: subs and slaves weight? (9/24/2006 11:08:24 PM)

*fast reply*

I have been following this thread but never feel comfortable commenting on weight, because of my weight. I am 5' 3 and 105 lbs. I was 95 pounds until last year when I started trying to get to a healthy weight. Now, I just have to get into shape and get my anemia under control. [:D]

When I was growing up I hated to be skinny, I was made fun of a lot. I was/am not the ideal in my community/culture. I always envied all the "thick" girls with curves and until recently I did not feel pretty because I was so thin.  It kills me to hear a guy say "You could use some more ass" or the two skinny comments. You get judged alot when you are skinny, not as much as  if you are overweight but a lot.

I had to embrace my skinny, little ass and love my body for what it is.....well maybe not the stomach I so need to do some crunches. [;)]

It's really about being happy and healthy as you are.

Kat..who has rambled enough

We should start a thread that incorporates all three:

9/11 was an inside job, started by fat submissives who incorrectly claimed they were slaves.

How's that? [;)]

DiurnalVampire -> RE: subs and slaves weight? (9/24/2006 11:28:43 PM)

My boy currently is about 6'4 and weighs 130 tops.  He's tiny. I find it apealing, but mainly becasue I can easily overpower him being so small.
If someone is happy with themselves, as long as they are healthy I dont know why their weight would matter. There is someone out there that wil find every bodytype attractive. Something for everyone, as they say.
Me, Im no swimsuit model.  I look good, Im happy with myself and wether or not most people agree with that doesnt matter much to me. It might sound ciche, but whats inside matters more than whats outside.  As long as someone takes care of themselves, big or small, its them as people I am interested in. First and foremost.

JerseyKrissi72 -> RE: subs and slaves weight? (9/25/2006 3:21:39 AM)

My late Master was only concerned about my weight when I found out I had type 2 diabetes..I have pretty much always been a big girl with no trouble working it if you know what I mean..I am undergoing gastric bypass surgery either late this year or early next year; whenever I get things in my life together for "health" reasons only...

HalloweenWhite -> RE: subs and slaves weight? (9/25/2006 5:04:14 AM)

Personally, I LOVE girls (vanilla or lifestyle) who don't conform to societies "considered opinion" (meant to sound sarcastic) about how slim and slender they should be. As far as Im concerned curves equal character and there's not enough of that around.

Im bored to tears with seeing girls on t.v or in magazines who are short (around 5 feet tall) have long, straight blonde hair and are clearly about a size 8 or 10 at the most.

I think the most attractive women are the ones with a brain, guts, self confidence and who take care over their appearance-clean, neat and tidy and smell nice.

Weight should only be a problem if it's affecting your health.

zumala -> RE: subs and slaves weight? (9/25/2006 6:44:47 AM)

I'm a little under 5'4" and about 124 pounds currently (goal is 118-120).  I'm not so sure that actual weight is a good indicator of health or lack there of.  Take me as an example...  Am I technically overweight? No.  However, I am not in shape.  I lack the muscle tone that I would like to have.  I still have little bulges of fat here and there.  It annoys me to no end.

It's not the weight... it's the fact that I /know/ I need improvement in my strength, flexibility, and endurance.  THAT is where health lies.  When your body is working to its best potential and you feel good.

Just my 2 cents.

Good post, zuma. Weight can help guide you towards health, but it is just a number, to a degree.

Fantazmaster -> RE: subs and slaves weight? (9/26/2006 6:04:16 AM)

Then is the story of lady who had been trying in vain to shed more than a few pounds.Summer came and she met up with a tri-athlete who had a summer job on a local farm.Seems the tri-athlete had an un-airconditioned room .Well late August rolled around and the lady had lost 48 lbs.I will leave it to you dear reader to fill in the details in your mind.

desirable -> RE: subs and slaves weight? (9/27/2006 12:30:18 PM)

No matter what you look like no matter how heavy a person is ... that is not what matters. It is the beauty that is within them and what they have to offer. So size is not an issue. Plus beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

White, that's the problem, it DOES affect your health!
All kinds of bad things can and do happen to you if you put on too much weight!
Look at childhood obesity in this country. Just yesterday Yahoo had an article about it that said it is now an "Epidemic!"
As I browse the photos in here I see pictures of what I think are 40-50 year old women only to look at their ages and see "22", "27" etc. Being overweight makes you look a *lot* older too.
I'm not saying and I don't think anyone else in here is saying that overweight or obese people aren't nice people.
That's not the issue at all.
The issue is that being overweight and certainly obese is Dangerous!
It is now more dangerous than smoking in this country!
It is now the number one killer in this country.
That being said, I'm going for a ride on my $99 Huffy Bicycle.

I'd better tell that to the boys and girls who keep carding me at restaurants and bars, LOL.  In fact, the older men/women get, the older they look if they have no fat padding under the sagging skin.  Have you noticed how horrible star jones looks at 1/3 the size she used to be?

popeye1250 you're really adorable with your dramatic warnings of doom to befall people who don't exercise every day.   I probably shouldn't tell you about the in shape men (who've religiously exercised all their lives) I've met but cannot date for fear of being present at their next heart attack from stressing them too much myself. [;)]

You do have a point in that we should all be our healthiest selves, and do what is necessary to be that way.   But darling in life, as we are all adults, we are masters/mistresses of our own destinies.   If I decide that I'd rather live in a way I consider happy/fun, but shortens my lifespan, it is my choice, and not one I want to be preached to about, know what I'm sayin'???   M
