Kind of noticed an anomaly here on collarme.com, I see that the majority of dom women have these statements in their profiles like "FEMALES ONLY - Contact me, read it again, Contact me - FEMALES ONLY". Now, I know that along with the BDSM lifestyle typically comes some homosexuality or bisexuality, but the proportions are way off, and how these doms (except the doms for pay) seek to keep away male subs is beyond me. My only theory on it is that there are too many males bombarding their inbox. Can someone explain this phenomenon to me? Do female doms receive more pleasure when they're with female subs than with men? What's going on?

Anyway, I've nearly given up looking for a dom in CO, they're just impossible to find and the ones you do find only want women, go figure. Now, I say this with all due respect, please understand that. I'm just trying to understand this scene a little better... and maybe give me some hope! lol

PS- Any of you other sub/switch/slave guys see what I'm talking about here?

I can't say anything about "most". I do have reason to believe that it's a lot easier to find a male submissive than it is a female one and that might be why there is an imbalance in the numbers.

I don't know if you have tried this yet, but you can change your settings so that you will only see the profiles of those female Dominants who are seeking males. Go to your home page. There is a drop down box that says "they are seeking". Select the category that you fit into (i.e. submissive males) and presto! Only Dommes who are seeking male subs will come up.

Written by a female Dominant who used to live in CO, only sought males, but I'm betting I can guess what town you live in.

ETA - Yep. I lived there for several years.

My guess is pretty much what LadyPact stated. It's my understanding that female dominants can easily get male dominants and need not advertise, whereas those female dominants who are interested in female submissives/slaves only, find the search is not as easy and so they "advertise".

Dude, I haven't noticed any such thing, but I haven't looked at Domme profiles much.

Oh frick! Major mess-up on my post. I meant to say female dominants can easily get male submissives/slaves, not male dominants. Although I think that happens more easily than the other way around. ;)

It's true all the lesbo Dommes congregate online, you have to meet real life Dommes to get in line.

The real living flesh ones are better anyway. I'd suggest going to local events.

I think what you're seeing is the "big deal" that Dommes make about looking for a femsub....meaning that if you're on here and female, you get inundated with a ton of messages from men, no matter what your profile says. So women are are looking for women tend to put it NO MEN NO MEN in big bold letters to get the point across.

They'll still get a ton of email from men though. LOL...it's the nature of a kink site.

I have this spider about as big as my palm sitting out in my garden shed... can I call you to go hunt it for me? Because I won't be caught dead out there, it could sever an artery or something! To make matters worse I think it's a mutant orb spider so it looks all big and hairy and tarantula like...
