I prefer partners who are traditionally hot and sexy, who aren't overweight and look like they go to the gym regularly.

Are all of my partners that way? No.

Am I that way? No.

My partners all like that as well- I KNOW they'd get a nice kick if I were 50 pounds lighter and slightly buff.

What we prefer and most drool over does not necessarily mean we ONLY choose those things.

And even if we did, that's ok too.

ok My two cents...

Fat is a state of mind first and foremost. Yes being overweight can be unhealthy, but there are also a lot more people out there who are technically overweight and lead a more active life than some who are skinny or thin. Up untill last year I was one of those. I would constantly be running around with this person or that person, taking my son all over hells half acres.

I miss all of that and I am working hard to get there again. What stopped me wasnt weight and its not a very easy subject for me to discuss because it still is a huge mind fuck for me. I was layed up all of last year between surgeries and not being able to move much and healing time. I had nurses in my home 2 times a day for dressing changes and for personal care. Hell My surgeon even came to my home because we didnt want to risk me going to a Dr's office that are usually full of germs. What caused it was Necrotizing Fasciitis also known as the flesh eating bacteria. I'm not going to go into details about it because I tried that and ended up deleting it twice cause I dont want to relive any of that experience at all ever. It left me with panic attacks and all kinds of foul problems after it happened. It took me almost a year to get past that and to finally be able to move about without ripping scar tissue.

With all of it being said and done now, I still have occasional problems but nothing like what it used to be and nothing real significant. The biggest thing for me that I'm working on now is getting back into My life. I'm busy as it is but not in a sense like I used to be. I developed diabetes while in the hospital because of the mass amounts of antibiotics that were forced into my system, they were all based in a glucose solution and it overloaded my system to where I cant tolerate sugars much at all anymore, my body just wont do it, so its left me on insulin and with a lot of changes in my routines and life. So its not just scars as reminders that I have its a whole lot more.

Anyhow what this did with weight for me was took me out of being healthy overweight to not so healthy. I dont have the energy I used to have and I dont bounce back from things like I did before this happened. I'm sure in time and with the med regulations and such this will change and its starting to get somewhat better so I'm definately looking forward to getting my life back.

For any that dont like me for who I am now, thats their problem. I still love me and thats all that counts. I may not like some of the things that have happened or where I am at currently but its just a change and change happens, we just have to learn to deal with it and overcome and of the hurdles it throws in front of us, which is what I am doing now. As far as finding people to be with, its never been an issue for me. I'm smart, outgoing, fun to be around and be with, I also dont buy into the whole if you're fat you should be ashamed bullshit. I might be fat but by god when I go out and am looking good and feeling good it shows and I turn a lot of heads *grins* I like that and it just goes to show so much more that its not a fat/thin issue with people its in the way you carry yourself. If you walk around always looking downward you'll never get to see anything or anyone. People notice these things when you walk into a room, they may first see a big girl walk in but they see a well groomed and proud of who she is person too and that in itsself is an attractor for a LOT of people.

Ok this became more like a 1.00 post than a 2 cent one.... I want a raise damnit! For all the big girls out there, dont hide.... be yourself, be strong and proud of who you are! *hugs muh fluffy sistahs n grins*

Albatross: Of course it's okay! Never said it wasn't. My fantasy ideal isn't even a human being :)

But in real life, I am attracted to different types and keep an open mind. My main point was I just don't like the idea of 'No fun for you until you're the ideal!' that is stupid and pointless. Sure, my size might make it a little harder, and I might have to try harder, but that's okay.

As long as I never have to settle for less, I am happy. I've settled before, and I never will again.

Ok, since other subs are posting I will too...

There is a history or heart disease with my mom and my father... I lost my father at 46 to a genetic heart condition... My mom has a murmur in the same part of her heart as my father had trouble with...SOOOOO I need all the help I can get being fit

I run to the level of cardio workout, not just aerobic, and yes it does matter if you are overweight STATISTICALLY heart/health wise. I have a few extra lbs on me, I am in a tight size 10, and I want them loose... I am 5 foot 10. It does matter to how I feel that I am 10 lbs overweight. I feel sluggish... I had trouble breathing when I weighed over 200 lbs. I want to live A LONG time... and for me that means watching my heart health because I was dealt a genetic loaded gun.

Yes. some people are healthy even if they are obese, most aren't... EVENTUALLY they will usually suffer some sort of bad health consequence. Does this mean they are not sexy?.. NO. Does this mean they arent worth loving? HELL NO. Some of my most cherished loved ones are extremely obese....and they are not one iota less for it. But I worry my ass off for them. I have a brother with type 2 diabetes because of his weight.

I am not after being a perfect size 10 for looks, I just wanna climb every mountain and forge every stream.... and I want my heart to be around for a long time to come....

That is awesome Cin to know. My experience is still so new. I consider myself still a novice after being in it for about 1.5 years. I have yet to experience the local scene but I can't wait for that. Big tits and ass definately make better targets and give a little more cushion to keep us from getting hurt, lol. I guess my run-ins have been with the few men that one perfect, skinny chicks. I am excited to move on though and meet those who prefer bigger women

i have found that there are a lot of Doms in my area that are into plus sized women. In fact, most of the subbies i meet at gatherings are as big or bigger than i am, and i am always very comfortable.

Most of the time when people think of fat they think of a person that sits at home does nothing all day but feeding their face, that they are smelly and unclean, their homes are a mess and stink, yadda yadda. Generally most overweight people do not fit into this catagory. Those that do while yes physically they are overweight, their state of mind is depression and society's view of fat.

Overweight, obese, morbidly obese, those are states of body.

This is one of those repeatable politically correct topics that takes many victims unless you take a particular party line and say "Oh, I love fat people, really" while you go back to your copy of Fetish Weekly and ogle the really attractive, thin, beautiful people. No one wants to admit he or she is discriminatory towards what he or she is attracted to because everyone wants to be perceived as better than their own crass motives. I know I am that way. That's why I say I like/prefer overweight subs. Really.

Go ahead and flame if you like. It's not like I've ever gotten lucky here anyway.

I do not post on here often, but this topic caught my eye.

I used to be a twig. When I was a twig men would bend over backwards for me. I got smiles all of the time and everybody was nice to me. Everything was just hunky-dory.Men even got up to give me a seat on the subway.

Fast forward to now. Medication made me gain weight. I am a size 14 and a proud size 14. Except...

Men now (not all but a lot)...:
-Let doors fall in my face
-Give me looks of scorn
-Call me a "fat bitch" after walking into me literally
-When I go to the gym people get off the bike when I go to the bike next to them (no other bike available)
-Stare at me at the gym with a look of disgust
-I can keep going on and on on this topic.

Point is.:
There are no stares anymore except looks that I should not be alive and how dare I be there.
The kindness that used to be shown toward me when I was small that is not there was there for the agenda of "I wanna F-- you" Now I am not desirable to those men. I am not to their precious standards.

I even got thrown out just about, of Victoria's Secret after being told the article of clothing "would not stretch enough to fit you"

My fiancee loves me large or small. He loves my butt. I am lucky to have someone like him.

I have to be proud of what I am: a curvy lady. But OTOH, I have feelings.
Before you insult what you call the "fat bitch" near you THINK . Others have feelings.

Ophelia, that's really sad to hear. When I'm in 100% rock hard toned condition I'm a sz 14. at the moment I am not in that condition *shrugs* but I still turned men and womens heads, been complimented, asked out, hit on, etc etc. So not all people are like that. Sounds like you are surrounded by alot of shallow asses to be honest.

At the gym I feel pretty normal compared to everyone else. The assh*les that change bikes, good for you, no sweaty people nearby to smell *g*

Glad you like yourself, as it is the a huge advantage. makes it easier to ingore the norrowminded idiots.

Yes its me in the pic ;) I model sometime.

NYC, especially Upper East Side, is all shallow people. They are obsessed with designer shit, and the gym is full of skinny people . They make me feel that I should not be there because I cannot participat ein the fashion show. Here in NYC if you are bigger, you are considered rotten shelf-lifewise. Sad but true. The point of me being at the gym is not to parade, but to better myself,right?

I have noticed firsthand so many experiences of hatred then when I was skinny.

Nyxalinth2 see the problem I have is that I have met Doms who like the meaty girls but since I don't want to stay a big girl I feel that maybe that situation wouldn't be fair to either one of us. Plus I tend to fall in the size between, men who like bigger women are not attracted to me and men who like smaller women aren't attracted to me... ~winks~ until I turn on the charm... then I have to beat them off with sticks... *sighs* but none so far are HIM... ~winks~ keep waiting you will find him.
