ORIGINAL: thetammyjo I can't say I prefer over weight or not because I think pounds are stupid way to measure someone's health and value. I do know that skinny is a turn-off to me cause all I can do is look and think "I might break that" and then I can't be interested at all. There may not be as much to smack around, but I doubt if every thin female is a weakling. I have a small frame, but I'm very capable of carrying a good amount of long, lean muscle on it. I out-performed all the "skinny" girls in school because I am strong, not because I was really "bigger". However, I have also seen heavier girls out-do skinny ones in strength. If a 90 pound girl can't do a single chin-up, she has a problem. If a 150 pound girl can do three chin-ups, good for her! She's lifting more weight and doing a better job of it. I just happen to fall in the middle. In the middle isn't skinny then, is it? Also, not so much a factor for me, but many men I know say that thinking about sex with a skinny woman is a lot like thinking "ouch". I believe they are talking about supermodel thin where the point isn't the woman (or man) but the clothes, the make-up and the objects they are selling. Of course these are men talking to me and I am not skinny but any stretch of the imagination. Damned strong? Yes! Curvy? Yes? Healthy? Overall, yes, certainly healthier than I was when I was underweight or ever my so-called ideal weight because I eat better, move more, and feel better about myself.
