Yes, it has been only a week--here.  But I've been looking/not looking (not looking is for the people who say 'When you're not looking is when it happens' heh) for *seven years*.  Isn't that just a little too long?  What about the old saying 'One definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results'?  That's why I am frustrated.  Not so much the week, it's the years.  That's why I am about ready to give up.  Two or three years is reasonable.  Seven might mean there's a problem, and I don't yet know what it is.
 
Also, again, I had someone nice/seemed compatible message me the other day.  He liked me until he found out my size.  Now my messages go ignored.  The irony is, this guy weighed about 300 pounds.

**Well, for several of those years, I was working on baggage, too.  Bad baggage.  Interestingly, I had MORE offers (turned them down, because these guys were just...brrr.  Homeless, or crackheads, or creepy married men wanting to cheat.  Had little to do with how they look.  I go by chemistry) before I worked out msot of my baggage!

In 2002, there was one guy, but the sex was dreadful so I don't count it.  there was someone with potential right after him, we went out once, never heard from him again.  In this case, a blessing: turned out he was a rapist who kept out of jail on legal technicalities!  He was finally put away in 2005.  I thank the gods that I never went home with that winner.

Point is, I'm still working on myself.  Sad thing is, now that I've done a lot of work, no one approaches or seems to go for me.  My guess is that I've improved enough to ward off the asshats, but not enough to attract quality.

My profile basically said that I was looking for a Dom who could appreciate an intelligent sub who had a life and interests outside of her submission, I said I only had a few limits (hard ones like no scat, kids, or animals, no slavery) that while I was new I was eager to learn and find out what my limits might be,  and that I would be more than happy to please the right man.  Not many takers.
