KnotNaughty -> How do you like to be called? (9/20/2011 4:49:00 PM)

Different people like to be referred to by a particular name or title, some like Master, others Sir, some like Daddy. I'm curious what do you like to be called?

Particularly interested in any "titles" that might usable in vanilla settings.

Thanks,

Knot

I call Master "Master" or "Sir" or his given name depending on the company we are around or not around. He doesn't care what I call him though as long as I'm always obedient and respectful.

For vanilla settings why not just go with "Mr. *last name*"? I personally don't like it because it's too informal, but it's definitely authoritative.

When answering it's allways Yes Sir/No Sir, Other than that, my name. I dont need a title; as long as they answer me in a way that maintains our dynamc, I am pleased.

On the telephone.  I tried the thing with two cans and a string, but found the voice clarity was lacking. [;)][8D]

I generally just call her Hanners. We have a lot of other nicknames for her as well, we do a lot of nicknames around here, my current favorite pet name for her is Eddie.

For me my Master is Master all other Doms are Sir unless of course it is for Daddy role play and then it is Daddy.

IrishMist -> RE: How do you like to be called? (9/20/2011 8:01:26 PM)

I always called him Master. In public, in private; in front of family, including kids, and in front of strangers. It did not matter where we were, who we with or what we were doing. He was Master...and I was...well, whatever he felt like calling me at any particular moment [8D]

RexDarcy -> RE: How do you like to be called? (9/20/2011 8:20:03 PM)

In vanilla settings, I want My first used. In private, Master / Daddy - or My first name. As llong as respect is there, I am okay wither any of those three. Being called Sir makes Me feel old so I don't allow for it.

Until I was about 14, I thought My name was "Dammit"

Most anything is an improvement over that.

Normally I call him Sweetheart.  On occasion Gary works better.
When asked a yes or no question I tend to answer "yes, sir" or "no, sir" which seems normal when you realize I lived and worked with military people for nearly 30 years.

NocturnalStalker -> RE: How do you like to be called? (9/20/2011 8:53:15 PM)

I'm a humble man so I'll settle for Baron or Lord.

Epytropos -> RE: How do you like to be called? (9/20/2011 9:24:42 PM)

I really let people go with whatever as long as they don't call me Master when I'm not. Usually more high-protocol and/or new subs call me Sir, the rest use my name. I'm not much for names at all, and less for titles, so unless someone calls me something blatantly rude I basically let them go with whatever.

NuevaVida -> RE: How do you like to be called? (9/20/2011 10:41:47 PM)

I usually call him Daddy. In a public setting or with his daughter around, I call him Mister, or Senor, or Darling, or my Love, or Babe, or Dude (which always gets me a look, but it's funny).

This.

Although calling him by his name feels...strange [:D]

He calls me "slave" or "girl". I can't remember the last time he called me by my name!

Hillwilliam -> RE: How do you like to be called? (9/20/2011 11:23:16 PM)

Does He ever call you "bunny"?

Well when we're around my daughter or just most people we call each other our given names. It's just easier although everytime he uses my given name it just sounds weird to me and especially when he uses the shortened form of my name because only my family calls me that lol.

Otherwise he has a ton of different names for me...slave, slut, it, cumdumpster, mouse, dear, hon...whatever fits his mood and circumstances.

LadyPact -> RE: How do you like to be called? (9/21/2011 1:33:37 AM)

Only clip is allowed to call Me "Mistress" without an additional name as a qualifier.  The only place that he doesn't call Me that is if he is in his work environment and then he calls Me "Ma'am".

Other people, I pretty much stick with Lady Pact or LP if they don't care for titles.  I figure if LP is good enough to carve into My boy's chest, it's cool if people call Me that.

lol - he's not one for perusing these forums, so he doesn't know that I will be 'da bunny' until the end of time. Or cm. Whichever comes first [:D]

MissImmortalPain -> RE: How do you like to be called? (9/21/2011 1:44:36 AM)

If all else fails and you really don't know what to call someone go back to proper raising and address the person in question as you would any other person you have respect for. Sir, or Ma'am, works very well in public. About the worst thing that can happen is people will think you were raised the right way.
