Status: offline 		My slave is concerned he'll be able to remove the lock that is advertised on the device. Are there any good locks that are non-compromising as far as integrity?

I've picked out a decent belt, just want to know of a good lock for the belt--one that will fit that can't be cut off.

-time
-effort
( Insurance companies grade locks and doors on time for say handheld devices of less than a given weight and size.)

2) what should the options be in a medical emergency?

3) could a seal to show that the integity is not compromised be enough?

Status: offline 		I'm mostly concerned about integrity (I'm not sure I understand the grading system) as well as the size of the lock's bar (the loop part of the lock would need to be small enough). It's hard to tell what will and won't fit, so do locks have measurements as well, to be sure it fits? ie- if I buy online, I'd want to make sure it fits into the device without actually taking a device to a store to ask them to size the hole of the device (lol)...that wouldn't be awkward or anything...heh.

Status: offline 		a seal yes. HE wants something more secure, not necessarily me. I personally can't imagine trying to pry one off with wire cutters without tears skin. Just a thought on that.

Now, so far as what I was referring to: the size of the loop is the thing that I'm wondering about. Does anyone know of specific locks (and the names of said locks) that might fit a chastity belt's lock holes, such as the "sentinal" and a CB2000-CB6000.

Ok, I hate repeating myself, but I do not want to have to go around town asking stores if they have a decent lock that fits this here cock restraint.

Status: offline 		Don't see the problem: if you don't want to buy the brass locks sold with most devices, trace the device hole onto a piece of cardboard of the same thickness, punch it out, go to the locksmith and say you need a lock to fit a suitcase with a small but thick zipper-pull .
There are also the numbered plastic locks, but I have had one fail through no fault of the man inside it.

A couple of answers to your question.

Firstly, I don't like the premise of the question.  It sounds like your sub is telling you that he needs a stronger lock to prevent him from taking the chastity device off.  Unless I'm mistaken, the underlying message in his request is that he is going to disobey you. 

If you choose to put him in a chastity device, why would he choose to take it off?  That's disobedience.  You shouldn't have to spend your money to compensate for his disobedience.  Find yourself a sub who will do what you say.

But having said that, buying a lock for a chastity device is pretty easy.  Take the device to Home Depot or Lowes.  There's almost no customer service in those stores, so you can see if various locks will work, and it's highly unlikely that a sales person will bother you.

BTW, personally I prefer forced chastity without a chastity device.  This places the burden on the male sub to place your orders ahead of his own desire to cum.  IMO, it's a much truer sign of his submission to you.  If you can't trust a sub, then why do you need him?

I think it's pretty clear that the buzz here is more about force than obeying than would occur in a lot of D/s situations, Roch. Obviously, some force is involved otherwise chastity devices wouldn't have locks on them at all. The OP and/or her sub want more of it, is all.

Nobody even need see the device while she searches for said lock. The bulk of it can be kept hidden inside a plastic bag, exposing only the bit that takes the lock.

I don't like the inference of your entire answer. PeonForHer is spot on with his responses.

But Roch, you are a guy, and not as perty as I am. Just a thought, but I get followed no matter what stores I go into (both by customer service _and_ by customers), unless I am dressed like a freakin hobo, and in that case, mexicans follow me around and compliment me on my damned PJs.

The point is, I'm not a people person. I'd rather not walk into any store and be followed around by and/or gawked at by lessers.

If anyone has looked at these chastity belts, they would see that not just any lock would fit. These take more thin locks and I have little luck seeking out what subby is thinking would be most reasonable.

So more secure lock + it's gotta fit right + I would greatly appreciate it if we don't tell me I need to be around lesser people because I just don't want (or need) that crap right now. And it's kind of you to assume that I can get through a store without being an employee magnet. Stores with more testosterone than progesterone tend to cause me to be inundated with "help."

Okay.  Different strokes for different folk.  Personally, I tend to do what my Domme tells me to do.  So it's hard for me to put myself in the mindset of people who want the impression of being "forced".  But I can respect that.  It's just a foreign way of thinking for me.

If you put me in a chastity device, you could use a piece of thread as the lock, and be guaranteed that it wouldn't be opened.  But that's because our modes of D/s are different.  Neither is right or wrong.  They're just different.

But I wasn't trying to offend.

Anyway, I took a look at my CB-6000 (since that's the type that you mentioned), and I noticed that the piece that the lock goes through is actually only about 1.5 inches long.  It looks completely innocuous.  You can try various locks to see if they fit, even if someone comes over to help you.  There's no need for you to take the big plastic part that looks like a cock.

Anyway, I hope this helps.  This thread has left me with a Twilight Zone feeling.  I've tried to help, and I think I've given the most detailed info in the thread, yet I feel like I've somehow offended you.  I don't quite understand that, but oh well.

Not worried about that. no flights planned for him in the near to distant future. I appreciate this response though!

I just need more info on what the specific type of lock is. best I can come up with is combo or padlock, just not sure of the best size and brand.

I can't be the first person to ever need to locate a more secure lock for a chastity belt, so it's amazing that nobody (as of yet) knows of any specific brands and more reliable locks to reference. ie: if he fiddles with it, I wouldn't want him to simply fiddle it off. And yes, he wants me to have more control instead of less control. This way, he has less power to decide over his own fate. If I put him in a cheaper lock for the device, it will very likely be more enticing for him to tamper with to test it and see if it's removable. More control is better in this scenario.

As I meant before...I doubt he'd take wire cutters and try to remove it that way or any other difficult way, but cheaper locks can be removed by a locksmith, etc. He prefers not having any way out of the situation, and if he's aware of even the slightest way out, he will feel that independence. That is what we are seeking to avoid.

Status: offline 		Master makes an array of padlocks, and that's all I have ever used--the sort with keys. You mention a locksmith... if he is only going to "fiddle", it seems reasonable to say that he is not just going to use a bolt cutter or see some stranger.
