McHenry was once known as Tom DeLay’s “attack-dog-in-training,” a title he more than earned today. Before the hearing had even begun, McHenry went on CNBC and brazenly accused Warren of lying to Congress. He claimed that Warren had misrepresented her role in advising state attorneys general who are seeking a multibillion-dollar settlement with the country’s largest mortgage service providers, who stand accused of massive and widespread foreclosure fraud. As evidence, McHenry pointed to a leaked internal document prepared by the CFPB that laid out different settlement options for the state AGs. Lucy, they are nothing less than freaked out... Warren hadn't even filed her paperwork and was already ahead by a substantial margin. A TV add hasn't aired and she is ahead by a substantial margin. Scott brown has NO RECORD that will in anyway justify his presence in Washington.
         And Lucy... when Sanity was yanking on that pea shooter of his earlier about Kennedy's seat... Brown's win really didn't matter on that level, and I'll explain why in a minute... What mattered was that we have a huge number of unemployed people, and he started right out of the gates blocking unemployment payments wqith the rest of the GOP and killed last years efforts to get a decent jobs bill... stuff like that
   Now, what sanitary said in his rant IS TRUE but only to the extent that there are a HUGE number of voters who didn't turn out for the senate race.They just didn't believe he could possibly get the seat. And yeah .. that was dumb on their part. Cause if voters had behaved as they do during normal elections (No one got excited about Mothra Coakley, but none the less since she'd successfully run for AG, they figured she was an automatic win by a slim margin.
    But you have to look at the timeframe we were in as a state and to a certain extent as a country.. Mass was numb basically after Kennedy's death and The Tea Party saw their big moment and  backed Brown heavily. They capitalized on it around the country as well claims were made about the cradle of liberalism crumbling and all manner of outrageous shit.
  It's just kind of over now that Warren enters the picture. All those Kennedy loyal voters will come out to the polls and I won't predict a 'landslide' but my gut's telling me it's stanley cup time again.
