I would propose that you try to state yourself more clearly if you are if you are feeling your PMS.

Yes, I realized the error and corrected it before your post.

But regardless of the typo the question was not addressed.

Thanks for the additional texture, me-hearty.

Coming about (heh) to think of it, there are other possible 90-degree changes of course too -- ones that would be neither a tack nor a jibe -- namely, if you were on a tack and fell off onto a broad reach, or the reverse.

As to the Op's post, I have so rarely had the opportunity to vote for any candidate of color aside from white, I doubt I hold anyone to any different standard. I get disappointed in most of them at some point, no matter hte race, and the article in itself is a bit racist in it's claims.

"higher standard" lmao.

If the standards for booting this clown were any lower than where things are then we could be in 4 wars, owe $20 trillion, have real unemployment in the 30% range and inflation in the teens. Would it be racist then?

fucking idiot.

Which fucking idiot got us into two of those wars Mr. Economic Genius?

And did I miss something here? Where is the fourth war?

For that matter where is the third? We have a limited involvement in Libya and haven't lost a single American life.

And explain to me Mr. Economic Genius how we have "real" unemployment in the 30% range and inflation in the low teens.

Real economists who actually are credentialed don't seem to agree with you.

But I'll give you a chance to save face Willbeur, post some proof.

But you never do that, so I won't hold my breath. You just spit out nonsense constantly with nothing to back it.

Psssst... the operative phrase in his post was "could be".

Not to worry, you'll get better. Work on this for a while: Fun with Dick and Jane

K.

I see.

So we can just speculate on what might happen and accept it as fact because some partisan idiot wants to claim it is?

In the past, RML could be counted upon to fire back with comments that whanged off at 90 degrees from the content of the post he was replying to. I mean, you'd sit there with your mouth open wondering how the hell he got there. It was as if he was responding to -- who knows, something in his head -- instead of what the poster actually wrote.

...

In doing this, he addressed what you actually wrote -- the points you listed -- almost perfectly (with only one hallucinatory intrusion, the word "low"). Granting that he missed the conditional context, that's still fucking spectacular. I'm impressed. If this is a trend, I need to ease off him.

rml's being at 90 degrees most of the time tracks with my observations of him too.  As well, I've also noticed that he has his moments of clarity.

But he keeps getting offended for some reason, when I tell him that he "has potential" and that I've "not given up on him yet."  [8D]

havent read any of the posts apart from the first page, but I love how you LOVE to make threads about racist or non racist liberals are , or how guilty they should be..or how in denial we are.
Is this more confirmation bias???Its VERY VERY telling and not in a good way.

Its a yawn because I don't think, when push comes to shove, that democrats will abandon Obama in favor of the GOP candidate come election day--which is all that really matters.

Angel, not really, do you rember Carter in 1979? They were leaving him in droves!
And he wasn't one tenth as incompetant as President Pantload.

slvemike4u -> RE: When in doubt, invent a new kind of racism (10/31/2011 2:05:14 PM)

Carter was ineffectual in all aspects, particularly during the Iran hostage crisis...and yet he was probably the most moral President of my lifetime. The electorate will forgive a President for many, and varied ills...but ineffectualness in the face of a foreign mob grabbing an American embassy is( I really like to use this phrase) " a bridge too far" for most Americans no matter their party affiliation.

no Firm its directly to you as you were the last poster and for what you have said to Tazzy over in the caiin harrasment claims in the other thread.
.
Hyperbole now means you talk bollocks???
You have been accusing ALL liberals of using the race card, yet it is YOU that has been the worst user of the race card this weekend.
Ive been away all weekend, I got back this afternoon, and since then Ive read most of them. You are truly being aggressively arrogant and vicious. Im sure I will get used to the hate coming off you in an hour or so, until then you disgust me

Ok. So I disgust you.

But ... your comment in this thread, where you brought it back out of the graveyard, was made before we got into that thread about any issue, other than the validity of whether or not Politico was a "leftist rag".

Therefore, either you are in the wrong thread, or you are confused.

Lucylastic -> RE: When in doubt, invent a new kind of racism (10/31/2011 6:12:47 PM)

LOL the first post was made before I read the harrassment thread
But it was you that stated weeks ago that cain would be targeted by liberals , racism etc, now here you are Stacking it higher and higher, my second post came after reading the thread I mentioned and there you are being purely bitchy.
Im not confused, Im not in the wrong thread, Im using the thread as a secondary addition to the fact YOU are the one using the race card, and you just keep on keeping on.
everyone else is wrong but you. Now what happens when you use that in a relationship dynamic??
Its not all the other people that have an issue.... its an issue with YOU
If you dont see that YOU are the one pushing for sposed racism then there really is no point in responding to me.
Unless you can show me from this fora section where any "liberal or leftist" has used racism against Cain.

hmmm ...

I state that the left and/or Dems will use several different types of attacks against Cain.

They do so.

I point it out.

I'm "pushing racism"?

*scratches head*

I must have missed something there. [8D]

No Firm you state that the left will use racism to attack Cain....and than label any subsequent attack as racism.Pretty convenient position if you ask me,but sort of contradictory coming from one whose stated position for the last few years that opposition to Obama does not equate, automatically to racism....how has that position changed?

http://www.thenation.com/article/163544/black-president-double-standard-why-white-liberals-are-abandoning-obama

The relevant comparison here is with the last Democratic president, Bill Clinton. Today many progressives complain that Obama’s healthcare reform was inadequate because it did not include a public option; but Clinton failed to pass any kind of meaningful healthcare reform whatsoever. Others argue that Obama has been slow to push for equal rights for gay Americans; but it was Clinton who established the “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy Obama helped repeal. Still others are angry about appalling unemployment rates for black Americans; but while overall unemployment was lower under Clinton, black unemployment was double that of whites during his term, as it is now. And, of course, Clinton supported and signed welfare “reform,” cutting off America’s neediest despite the nation’s economic growth.

Today, America’s continuing entanglements in Iraq and Afghanistan provoke anger, but while Clinton reduced defense spending, covert military operations were standard practice during his administration. In terms of criminal justice, Obama signed the Fair Sentencing Act, which decreased judicial disparities in punishment; by contrast, federal incarceration grew exponentially under Clinton. Many argue that Obama is an ineffective leader, but the legislative record for his first two years outpaces Clinton’s first two years. Both men came into power with a Democratically controlled Congress, but both saw a sharp decline in their ability to pass their own legislative agendas once GOP majorities took over one or both chambers.

There was a guy on B-dotcom`s forum,a disgusting guttless coward, who`s only post theme was how no one can criticize Presinent Obama without being called a racist.A reverse racism of sorts."But I can`t say that b/c I don`t want to be called a racists" on every comment.

Would never give an example but would continually play a victim act, saying libs were calling Obama`s critics, racists.

This racist crap Firm is pushing is kinda of a reverse-reverse-racism.Or is it reverse-reverse-reverse.....?
