did you ever consider going to anger management classes because seriously You have an anger problem big time. Your language is atrocious and you find conspiracies everywhere. Why can you not get into your head that i want to serve Women for nothing, no strings attached, and i will not be asking for payment, the money that it costs will be general upkeep, but look it if a Domme really wants me as Her slave well She will definitely cover such necessary expenses, this will sort the real Dommes from the charlatan Dommes

Bullshit.

You want a woman to pay your way. Also, you're a card short of a full deck, so if a woman is dumb enough to take you on I hope she has one hell of a lawyer.

50 years ago...1. women voted in the 60's. Yup. Pretty sure. 2. I'm also pretty sure that computers weren't mainstream. I don't think the men were even using them. 3. women in the 60's were pretty outspoken. 4. We probably would be living together...that whole free love thing and all.

Perhaps if you were talking about the early 1900's.... and even then, there is a lot of documentation of sex and enjoyment between men and women. They certainly weren't as prudish as people would like to believe.

Yeah, this is what I was thinking while reading through this thread. 50 years ago was 1961; not exactly the dark ages.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned World War II yet and how that event changed the roles of women in society immensely. The image of "Rosie the Riveter" probably did as much to change things in society as anything else.

There were also technological advancements during that period which made cooking, cleaning, and other aspects of housekeeping easier and less time-consuming. It used to be said that "a woman's work is never done," but that was changing rapidly in the years following World War II. (I remember my grandmother used to have an old wash tub with rollers, which was much more time consuming than modern washers and dryers.)

When I grew up, our family was probably more like "The Dick Van Dyke Show" than "Leave it to Beaver." But if one wishes to gain a true understanding of the history and culture of the era, then one has to go further than just look at old TV shows. (I actually came of age in the 1980s, but I'd sure hate for someone to think that the TV shows and movies from that era give an accurate indication of what it was really like.)

As to the OP, I'm not sure where he's coming from. Whether he's yanking people's chains or not, it seems that he's implying that it would be better for society if we went back to an earlier era. I think some people look back on the 1950s era with fond memories (even if they weren't even born yet). It's looked back upon as better times than we're facing now, even if this nostalgia is through rose-colored glasses.

But now, with things looking kind of bleak, it's not surprising that some would look to the past as better times. People might look to "Leave it to Beaver" and think "Hey, now that's a much better life than what we have now. It's all the feminists' fault!" I happen to think that our problems are far more complex than that, but I can discern an unhealthy trend towards scapegoating in this atmosphere.

The more recent show Mad Men also does a remarkable job of capturing that era.

if She is taking in big bucks each week and can afford it , it is only fair, after all i am providing HER with a service FREE of charge otherwise, and dont talk to me about the fact that it is costing Her of course it is costing Her but is only costing Her bread and board and gas and honestly i cant be bothered by that flummery , if a Domme uses that flummery as a reason not to take me as Her slave and She can well afford the money it would cost to keep me, then She is the one who will miss out and i dont honestly want to serve someone as rapacious as that, give and take folks, give and take, and im doing most of the giving , the financial side is incidental when the income per week is $3 to $5000 and possibly more , who knows

How is cooking for someone free of charge a leech? How is hoovering for someone free of charge a leech? How is doing all housework that would otherwise and repair and yard work that would otherwise cost that favourite word MONEY leeching off someone. im sorry you make me exasperated Greedy Top and did you or did you not use expletives yes you did i quote

AND TAKE YOUR FUCKING MEDS.
fuck off, kevvie.

have i used such expletives, no i have shown admirable restraint, something you are either incapable of doing or are otherwise unable to express yourself without resorting to foul language, so yes i do think you could benefit from anger management classes because unlike You i am able to keep my composure when angry

No; she would also have to pay for your, shelter (bed, dressers, toiletries), clothing, hospital stay, prescriptions. Not free, and not only bread and gas. Clearly you've not thought this out.

ETA: You really think cooking and cleaning is worth the $$$ she'll have to shell out to take care of you? Also, you seem lazy.

MasterJaguar01 -> RE: Feminism Has Made Women Too Masculine (9/25/2011 9:30:01 AM)

OK.... As someone who exclusively posts on the political board, I am a newbie here.

First of all, I would argue that some aspects of feminism have done a disservice to both genders, while some aspects have been a great benefit. On one hand, women have a lot to contribute intellectually, academically, emotionally, culturally, and many other ways (to society), and were often barred from doing so by societal norms. Feminism has made a very positive change in this area.

On the other hand, I believe the concept that, in general, men and women are not only equal, but possess the same capabilities is very flawed and harmful to both genders. I believe men are naturally wired to be leaders of the household. Anecdotally, I can say that I have observed that when intelligent, responsible men take a leadership role in the household (with or without children), that household (marriage/family has been happy, prosperous and successful). When that does not occur, the household falls apart. (Even, when the woman is extremely intelligent and responsible)

My .02: I believe that men (in general... there are ALWAYS exceptions) are at their best when they can effectively lead, and women are at their best (in a marriage/family) when they can tactically support a man who they trust to lead them.

LaTigresse -> RE: Feminism Has Made Women Too Masculine (9/25/2011 9:31:10 AM)

How is expecting to live in my home FREE OF CHARGE, doing things I already do without pay, serving?

Kevin, what you fail to understand, time and time again.....is that the women would rather pay for a service, do the service themselves, or leave things un-done...than have you close enough to them, to do them free of charge.

The way you post leads a person to believe you are crazier than my daughter's husband's grandma Geri, and not in the cute, quirky, weird way she is crazy.

lobodomslavery -> RE: Feminism Has Made Women Too Masculine (9/25/2011 9:32:17 AM)

shelter a given, clothing, no i have clothing, so thats that out of the way, hospital stay no, because i have been DISCHARGED, prescriptions, no
so when it comes down to it , its bread board, shelter gas and electricity, and if a Domme really wants me as Her slave boy , She will be willing to do this in return for sustained and FREE service and jobs done for NO PAY
kevin

Why are you grinding your heels on this issue. You have already made it perfectly clear You DO NOT wish to have me in Your home and i 100% RESPECT YOUR right to this decision, as they would say in court, OBJECTION, IRRELEVANCE

LaT.. you are ALSO expected to pay for his food, gas (for a car that I assume that he thinks you will either buy for him or let him use).. and lets see what OTHER kind of "services" he'll come up with...

Because she already does all of that herself, in probably less time that it would take you and she doesn't have to pay for your gas, bread, etc. See how much cheaper it is without you?

LockIt tried to get in on the action using the same form I put forward.  When I mocked her "me too" copying, she copied me again.  It's simple.  I lead, she follows.  That much should be crystal clear to anyone with a clue.  I'm surprised at her, because she's usually demonstrated more restraint and strength than this, so I can only presume there's some strain going on in her personal life.

I have never seen Lockit to be a follower, but more a leader. Maybe you just wish she would follow you and it's all in your own mind.
