Gender superiority isn't terribly popular. Why would I want something inferior serving me?

mummyman321 -> RE: "Good Boy" (9/26/2011 7:30:24 PM)

I do not mind being call "good boy", "bad boy" or any other type of boy. I am just a kid stuck in a big body. I will always be a kid at heart. The term boy does not offend me nor do I feel its demeaning. If anything I almost see it as a compliment. Heavan help me the day I can no longer see my inner child :)

JanahX -> RE: "Good Boy" (9/26/2011 7:44:32 PM)

Being on the other side of the coin ... I fucking HATE IT when a dom (especially one that I have zero connections with) tells me "good girl."

But the good part of it, is it's a way for me to weed out morons that are off in their own D/s fantasy zone.

hausboy -> RE: "Good Boy" (9/26/2011 8:05:06 PM)

"good boy!" is music to my ears.  ("bad boy!" is music to other parts...)  but it has to come from someone that I have that connection/relationship with. Otherwise, it feels awkwardly intimate, the way being called 'honey" and "sweetie" can be to some.

I'm also one of those eternal boys at heart-- being a boy has little to do with age.

MissImmortalPain -> RE: "Good Boy" (9/26/2011 9:55:36 PM)

My live in and I have talked about this a few times. He says that many years ago I said the words "good boy" to him on the phone and he knew that no matter what else happened he had to meet me face to face. That he knew by the tone of my voice that he was supposed to serve me. I don't remember all that being in what I said. Infact I think I might have been being a lippy bitch at the time. But for some reason it tripped his hammer and he has been here ever since(though most of the time I call him "good girl" now)[:D]

Insomnia, I has it. So I was thinking yesterday about the things we say to each other, and how differently wired my female submissive friends are from me. Things get them wet that make me... well, you wouldn't like me when I'm angry.

I say "good boy" a lot. Why? Because my parrot LOVES it. He responds much better to it than "good brrrdie", though I say that too.

Never ever have I said "good boy" to an adult male. I offer lots of praise and thank you when it's merited, I am big on acknowledgement and appreciation. I am also very deeply rooted in the notion that I am an adult that works with other adults, and while the other adults might be serving me, they are not "lesser", and not to be patronized or condescended to (unless it's a scene thing, and temporary).

What do you mens think? Do you groove on the "good boy"?

I had a friend in Vegas years ago that taught her parrot to say "shut the fuck up and hand me a beer".

Sure messed with a lot of people's heads when they came to visit :)

I would not teach that to Jeddie!! I hardly ever drink beer!

And that's where I picked it up. Spent a couple years living in England many moons ago.

It's good to find someone who appreciates the more civilised parts of the UK [:D][:D]

So You admit that You criticised me. Very big of You. Would it not be better to keep unpleasantries out of the forum

Pot.  Kettle.  Black.  Kevin, you've managed to insult or condescend most users who answer you.  You don't think before you type, I call that no "brain filter".  You just can't help it.  I've known people like you in real life and no matter how hurtful, they'll say the first thing that comes to their mind.  Then they get an "o shit" look on their face, but it's too late to take back.  You had a real chance when you first started posting to change your attitude, yet you chose not to.  So suck it up buttercup, you've sown what you reaped, in spades.

Unpleasantries and criticisms such as telling women that we shouldn't be allowed to wear makeup in the workplace because the only reason we do it is to attract men?

As unpleasant and downright rude as you are on a regular basis, this is just too funny.

YSG -> RE: "Good Boy" (9/27/2011 7:51:31 AM)

I've got an idea... Let just ignore the crap that Kevin posts. Im betting he'll go away if he doesnt get a response.

As for the topic at hand... I love being told that Im a "good boy" by my Lady. The sound of it, knowing that she is pleased with my actions, it's a truely wonderful feeling [:)]

lobodomslavery -> RE: "Good Boy" (9/27/2011 8:25:52 AM)

i didnt actually say it. i posed the question and invited responses thats all. i dont see that as being rude , it is an open forum
kevin

lobodomslavery -> RE: "Good Boy" (9/27/2011 8:27:09 AM)

I can't blame you.

So many refrains have been blamed on Capybara's....so much...for so little....has been blamed on so few.

It's a crazy world.

I walk unrequited...I stand with tall soldiers.

I deal with people who are short enough to pick even shorter vegetables.

No one can question my integrity because...I stand above...and they're short enough to stand below.

I've never questioned their integrity because....I've always doubted my own.

Ergo....if it were....I'd wonder....if it weren't...I'd know.

I stand firm with that.

LadyHibiscus -> RE: "Good Boy" (9/27/2011 6:18:52 PM)

Remember my offer, JJ! I haven't cleared it with Peon, yet, but I'm sure he'll be game! Especially f there's a capybara to sweeten the deal!

Tantriqu -> RE: "Good Boy" (9/27/2011 8:25:19 PM)

I never say 'boy'; I like my men to be manly, and men, so I suppose my endearments mirror that.
But the ones who spring to all sorts of attention when I say, 'good dog', make me *tingle*.

Daddysredhead -> RE: "Good Boy" (9/27/2011 8:45:08 PM)

I use "good boy" all the time with Geoff, most of the time it is to let him know that I am pleased or happy with him, something he did, or something he endured.

When I was bottoming to someone, I loved to hear that I was a "good girl." It just made me get warm fuzzies all over.

I think "good boy"/"girl" is very special and mushy, and I don't think anything badly about saying it or having it said to me.

myotherself -> RE: "Good Boy" (9/28/2011 12:03:14 AM)

I'm with Red - to me "good girl" is an intimate, romantic term of endearment. Gives me the mooshies to even think about it! [:D]

LadyHibiscus -> RE: "Good Boy" (9/28/2011 6:08:44 AM)

See, bunny, that's what makes you happy to be subly! To me, unless it's very clearly jokey, "good girl" has me winding up a headpunch.

Personality works into it, to...a local Leatherwoman says she's okay with it from those she sees as higher up the chain of command, because "there's always a bigger dog". I say the bigger dog doesn't need to condescend to me.

It's a world of folks!
