Heh, sorry, not just trying to be stubborn. That's truthfully how much of a rut I'm in. I would've liked to be a computer scientist. Guess that's not happening. =/ I'm studying Java at home as it is, but I have no idea whether or not that'll go anywhere.

I know exactly how bad it is, I just finished my masters in 2010. Prices are completley unfair and make life hard, student loans often give me panic attacks, no joke. However, I am handling it. Loan companys do work with you and I have a lot of really great job prospects becuase of my education and it is really exciting for me!

Both my brothers and I used fasfa to fund our college education, the reason you don't qualify for more is because you are being claimed as a dependant by your parents, because you have no taxable income, or both. Get a job, get out of your parents house and you will qualify for plenty. You can easily go back to college, it's a matter of whether or not you are willing.

If he has a preexisting medical condition that requires surgery they will DQ him. Unless he lies about it and gets in undetected. Not a good idea though, they give you an OTH discharge for that, no benefits, and an re-4.
