Getting back to the OP

First off, I hope they are right about getting him. There was that kid from Orange County CA who became an al Qaeda spokeshole, and they announced he was dead a few times.

Al-Awlaki chose to make war upon the United States, and we made war on him, in return. Nice shot, A1C, Whoever!

I could see the people who want, or claim to want, all the terrorists in front of juries having a problem here, but I believe it has been noted along the thread that they have mostly shut up since a Democrat got into the CIC slot. Now, what candidate Obama might have had to say about such an act is certainly fair game, and I'd love see if Holder has a comment to offer (or a resignation in protest), but I'm good with it.

How the Nobel Peace Prize committee might be feeling these days is nothing but gravy.

Rich, big difference for some of us who were critical of GITMO. Many of those shipped there were not terrorists so should never have gone there.

The ones that did go there should have been treated under American law while in custody.

There`s a story that he was turned against us, after being tortured on our behalf,in Yemen.


That would have been during bush`s "torture them all,let god sort them out" days.


If true,this would be a striking example of a neo-con policy failure.
