Took you awhile...did you have to look it up...lol.

If they disrupt my investments I'd like to spank their little asses... You see the problem with this type of general target disruption and protest is they don't know how the system works or even who to target.

The last thing this country needs is a disruption in our precarious economic recovery. Most clear thinking responsible people understand this and know that the way for change is through the vote

The vast majority of businesses in this country are upstanding corporate citizens that are making an honest profit employing Americans and allowing them to live a decent life.

Indiscriminate accusations of the ignorant will not serve our country and most people see this.

Im sorry Im not running on your time line, Butch. You are antagonistic today... more than usual.

But, now it becomes clear. If YOUR investments become disturbed, then you want to do something about it.

Oddly, you are assuming this is all college kids doing this. You are very wrong. But you are entitled to your ignorance.

Tazzy I don't mean to be antagonistic...perhaps I am just getting old and don't like these young whippersnappers causing trouble. But besides showing my age I do think these are mostly kids, by looking at the videos and pictures…show me different, and they don't have a clear picture or purpose.

We will see but I think they will get no support from the general public…they will see them as trouble makers with no substance.

FR: (with a dip of the head to Moon).

These protest are part of the same social movement that encompasses the TEA party, simply from a different angle, and from a generally different group of people.

The TEA parties believe that the government has gained too much power, and is gaining that power partially through the increasing tax burden.

The more powerful a government, the easier and more likely that the levers of power will be used for the advantage of those individuals, groups and companies which can gain access to those increased levers of power i.e. many large businesses.

These protestors are against that, but have identified the incorrect root cause.  The more accurate reason for the problems they are against is indeed the increased power of government.

Unfortunately, the method that they wish to use to "correct" corporatism is increased government power and oversight.  In the end, this will only make the problem worse, not better.

Firm I believe there is no real significant difference in government interference in business and in so called corporate greed now as compared to 30 years ago. The whole problem can be attributed to global economics in my opinion. The standard of living is decreasing in the US and increasing throughout the third world and this fact is manifesting itself in unrest in this country.

The tea party and this economic spring are just the reaction to the new economic reality of the world.

"Most clear thinking responsible people understand this and know that the way for change is through the vote "

You gotta be fucking kidding. How can anyone be so naive and be able to function in life ? The time for voting is long past. Vote for who ? There are no candidates that will do what needs to be done. People voted for Obama thinking that would change tings, it didn't. He's as bad as the rest of them, once they get voted in they completely forget who put them there.

Allegations of vote fraud in this country are completely useless because there is noone for whom to vote. All of their strings are pulled by the same puppetteers and we all know it.

I said it was 97 years too late not because of what happened 97 years ago concerning the economy and shit, I said it's 97 years too late because back then the People had a chance of stringing up these fucking politicians who are essentially traitors. Now the government is too fucking powerful and the only good that is likely to come out of this is that we are going to find out just how powerful and nasty they really are.

If a movement such as this grows and really gets to the point where they think they have something to worry about they will be bringing out all kinds of high tech weapons that they supposedly don't have or would "never use". All the sudden prison space will magically become available.

You fucking watch, carefully. And in the end, a tinfoil hat will be akin to a crown.

You know why ? Because while I'm not quite a nutcase conspiracy theorist, I am not stupid enough to think that the government does all this shit and is not prepared for a revolt. What would you do, say "Let them eat cake" and then stand out on the street amidst the angry, hungry mob ? Maybe you would if you actually think voting would do a damn bit of good.

ETA :

"The whole problem can be attributed to global economics in my opinion."

What does the global economy have to do with Glass Steagal ?

It depends on what change you want...the only change that counts on the government level is through the ballet box not fanatic rhetoric. Anyone who thinks there will be an armed revolution over corporate greed IS a nutcase…there are too many people who have invested in wall street for such silliness. As an example ask mom and pop who depend on stocks bonds and mutual funds for retirement what they think.

There could be reason for worry if the problems in America were geographically based but there are no clear boundaries geographically or philosophically.

The real anger in America is directed at congress not wall street so the vote will make the changes not kiddy fanatic protests.

True, until they get ripped off in the next round. And it worked so well the last few times the banksters will do it again.

This shit didn't just happen, they MADE it happen to make money. And they made money. Some got richer and some got poorer and that money did not just disappear. I knew it from the git, and more people are starting to figure it out. It was a plan to get the government money as a bailout.

The money did not burn, it did not leave the country (for the most part) yet it is gone. That means someone has it. Bring up all the defaulted loans, go right ahead, what about the collateral ? Well if the collateral isn't worth shit it was a bad investment. High risk. When you gamble you are supposed to be able to afford to lose.

In the company's name they placed high risk bets. If they would have won there would be bonuses. They lost. They still got bonuses. We paid for that.

And you think that's OK right ?

Corporations got into trouble.. and got bailed out.

Government got into trouble... and got bailed out.

People got into trouble... and were told they should have practiced fiscal responsibility by those who got bailed out.

What is three years of unemployment (people getting paid to not work)

Food stamps

Cash for clunkers

Weatherization cash, cash for new appliances and HVAC equipment, lighting upgrades...

And on and on. Not exactly chump change there...

And you obviously forget, it was primarily the Tea Party who decried all of Obamas banker buddy bailout programs while you leftist sang Tammy Wynettes "Stand By Your Man"

The fact that the media isn't covering it shows they're afraid.

The fact that FOX News is covering it - http://www.foxnews.com/ - shows they aren't afraid.

Must be only the liberal media who are afraid.

If Fox News IS covering it, you can tell us:

Who spoke yesterday?

How many protesters gathered? Did any march to other places? If so, to where? How many?
