So you want a revolution and support everything Obama does.

Really fucking funny.

This is starting to look like something Newt cooked up to call yall out.

I think you may be a tad confused.

This 'revolution' as you call it is NOT by any means in support of Obama or anyone in Washington.

It is against the practice of our congressmen and senators being bought and paid for WHORES to the banks and other large corps.
Seriously, do you think it is equitable that you probably paid more taxes last year than GE?
I did.

Nope you are the one who is confused. Of course it is not a pro Obama event. However folks like Tazzy and other advocates for this movement, worked hard to get Obama elected, and have defended essentailly everything he has done, including TARP, which is what they ar enow protesting.

Its fucking funny.

and Seriously, the people employed by GE paid probably a million times what you did in income tax. and GE got out of paying any tax by spending money on things like Solar Panels, employing disabled folks, and other actions that have been decided by the governemnt to be of social value. far more than anything you have contributed to society. and I am sure GE paid a matching Payroll tax on its employees at least hundreds of thousands of times more than your total tax bill. I bet they paid a fair amount of sales tax on things they buy to run thier bussiness, both raw materials and supplies.

I would guess that the sales tax on the amount of "post it notes" they paid would dwarf your total tax bill.

Not to mention employing tens of thousands of Americans,

What exactly is your beef with them?

Seriously I don't see the problem.

Fine... I am not saying you should not protest or don't have a right... I am saying this protest is unfair...If I were in charge there would be a definite direction and a message as organized below.

I would first organize and self police the demonstration. I would be absolutely sure my protests did not disrupted the daily routine of the average citizen… The battle is with corruption in business not the people of the city.

I would garner donations for sanitary facilities and be sure they matched the size of the demonstration.

I would apply for permits for all demonstrations and try to limit them to times and areas that would not cause disruption. I would try to gain the trust and help of the local police through civil obedience rather than alienate them with accusations and disobedience.

I would pick out targets in business and point out their greed and corruption while at the same time praising good corporate citizens.

I would have solutions to the problems I am pointing out.

I would try to gain public and political support and demand local, state and federal politicians declare their stance on the issues.

Last I would gauge the effect of the demonstrations and know when to call it quits.

The above would makes sense to me rather then the direction the demonstrations are taking..revolution indeed.

What protest is ever deemed "fair"?

So you believe one act or acts of a few should condemn the thousands of police officers who are working hard to keep every one safe…

And where was that one honest police officer, who working hard to keep everyone safe, who arrested his fellow police officer who was physically attacking American citizens who were peacefully and legally protesting - in case you've forgotten, rogue NYPD cop Anthony Bologna.

Not one of the thousands of police officers, who are working hard to keep everyone safe, sprayed pepper spray into the eyes of NYPD officer Anthony Bologna to stop him from illegally assaulting law-abiding American citizens.

Not one of the thousands of police officers, who are working hard to keep everyone safe, manhandled NYPD officer Anthony Bologna to the ground, put handcuffs on him, threw him in the wagon and drove him to lockup at Riker's Island for illegally assaulting law-abiding American citizens..

They were not working hard to keep everyone safe - they were willing accomplices to a crime of violence committed by a fellow police officer. Backing up a fellow cop was more important than protecting a law-abiding American citizen from a law-breaking policeman.

The Boise protest march begins at noon today:

quote:

They will hold a march at 4:30 p.m. this Wednesday, Oct. 5, from the Anne Frank Human Rights Memorial in Boise to the Capitol Park across Jefferson Street from the entrance to the Capitol.

I wonder if thats where they will assemble their guillotine, at the Anne Frank Human Rights Memorial

The difference is that bad cops tend to be protected by the "Blue Line"(why, I don't know nor can any of my LEO friends explain it). Bad protestors tend to get the shit beat out of them.
