Okay, I guess I have to agree with you there. Sounds like you were looking for more of a party atmosphere, and that's simply not what munches are intended to be, so you were bound to be disappointed.
If someone is looking for "loud music, people dancing, and all the drugs and alcohol you could ever hope for", then a munch is definitely not the place for them to go. But if they are looking to meet a few local kinksters at a quiet restaurant or diner, then a munch is exactly what they're looking for.
There won't be anything kinky going on at the munch. In fact, some might say that the atmosphere is rather boring. But in many cities, they actually won't allow you to attend the events that actually have half-naked people doing kinky things until you've first attended a munch.
