They "bottle up" feelings and emotions for a long time then "explode" into what ( they ) call "hatespeech.

I refuse to engage anyone whose default position is to assume all leftists and libtards are bloodsuckers who want to live off the government teat.
I refuse to engage anyone,with civility,who will not extend that same civility to others....the reason I respect some on the right and not others is not due to any difference in their viewpoints but the difference in how they perceive those that disagree with them...since sanity thinks so little of everyone who disagrees with him,I have no issue with my opinion,and no desire to change that opinion ,as it pertains to sanity.Quite simply he is an asshole of the first order and deserves ,nor will he receive ,any respect from me.

Hey, the list goes on and on on both (and all sides) racism is racism, I will not do an exhaustive example.

*shrugs*  I'm not saying that all Republicans are clean of racism.  Nor are all Democrats.

And, I'm not even saying that the use of the technique might not have even been useful at one point, or even now occasionally.

What I am saying is that far more of the politically active on the left have discovered a way to short-cut an honest discussion is to simply label a political or ideological opponent as "racist" in some way, and "win" at the cost of honesty, integrity and the openness of good political debate in our country.

Since the use of the question of "racial hatred" was more often used - in modern politics (say, the 1960's Civil Rights era) by the Dem/Left to impeach Repubs/Conservatives, that they (the left) more often resort to this particular tactic than the other side.

Such Dems/Lefties seem to believe that they should automatically be given a pass on the race issue, and that their surmises about the motives and "true meanings" of every political opponent of theirs can be translated into race hatred, I find it humorous when the tables are turned on them.

I see alot of things that are clearly lies that are being passed off as truth and how much honest discourse or consideration do I owe to that. I don't.

And that comes with the individual, you and I don't get into shitfits.

The proof of what I am saying is this simple...name one person of a left leaning persuasion that sanity can be civil with?
When you realize the answer to that question is zip,nada,none...than you must ask yourself ...is it really possible that every last person posting here that disagrees with my point of view is an asshole ?
When you come to the quite reasonable answer that this is not possible,nor probable you must than,if you are being honest with yourself re-evaluate your opinion on sanity and his give and take with others

Well, I don't know that it is true that Sanity has never had a civil word with any person left of center.

But, even assuming that to be true, do you not have any responsibility to take the high road?  Don't you classify yourself as "left of center".  Aren't members of the left suppose to be "more compassionate" "more forgiving" and "more understanding"?

In other words, if you condone and continue your bad treatment of him, and make no serious effort to reach out and understand and get along with him ... how are you any different than how you perceive him as being?

Oh, don't get me wrong.  I have a few posters on hide, simply because I don't feel that they are worth the effort.  But ... I don't engage them at all, anymore.  I don't wait for them to start a thread so I can attack them.  I don't read some BS of theirs, and then call them names and such.  If you aren't willing to engage him, then the least you should do is simply hide and ignore him.

But ... you don't do that, either, do you?
