Since the posts in this thread indicate a high level of............... can't think of the word here........

I have a logical dilemma.

There is a song, an American song with the words "from sea to shining sea". Says some shit about amber waves of grain but that's neither here nor there. This brings up the point that taken literally this means that one sea shines and the other doesn't. Well of course music is the best source of hard facts so we go to Alex Harvey of The Sensational Alex Harvey Band. With a name like that they can't be wrong, right ?

Well in a song entitled "The Tomahok Kid" appear the words "When we set sail across the shining sea", well not really appear unless you have some extrememly good drugs on. Alex Harvey is from Scotland and as such I believe he was referring to the Atlantic because Scotland doesn't have any clear access to the Pacific.

So the logical conclusion is that the Atlantic shines but the Pacific does not.

Why is that ? What are them Californyuns throwing in there to wreck the fucker ? We need action. California- so strict about pollution we had to build special cars for sale there, nice clean everything. Now we know, they are dumping that shit in the ocean ! Motherfuckers ! I say it's time for a war with California. Goddammit we can't keep putting up with this shit. I bet if we get some bombs into that San Andreas fault we could make it much more "faulty".

This would help the economy by encouraging sales of oceanfront property in Arizona.

This is a win win, I know a guy from Russia, I'll get prices on about ten suitcase nukes to go, with firing codes. Then I'll setup a website to take donations. WE SHALL OVERCOME !

Oh and Pam, don't worry, I'll let you know when it's time so you can get out of there. With the leftover money from the website I'll start a restaurant you can pretty much run, except for the steak, spaghetti sauce, pizza and paprikash departments. I can teach you the kash, steak broiling with acetylene and MAYBE the spaghetti sauce, but I do believe that Californyuns are psysically incapable of making a good pizza.

There was something else on my mind but it just slipped.

Nobody has mentioned age bias either (i take it that's because they don't want to start another war) but that is another bias i see. Occasionally i see prejudice on both sides of the equation- against younger posters and against older ones.

Standing in line...wait, is that yard gnome really running away with my coffee? I like flying monkeys when they sing The Monkees.

The absurdity meaningless

I want to fly to the Moon
- Vain dream

I think to fly to the clouds
- Meaningless, tired.

I do not want to
- I think, in vain ..

So wake up
- I
Our Moon,
We no clouds ..
And I think
- No love.

For the record, I was not getting the sidecar images
from a google search.  I was getting them from this
thread on this site.

Adventure Rider Sidecar Photo Thread  253 pages of sidecar photos.

Some of which are absurd.

I said some were absurd.  In fairness to that thread and that site there
are also some beautiful, many ingenious, some historical, and many
remarkable examples of engineering and craftsmanship.  However
every once in awhile they post the absurd.

Ninebelowzero;
You have the following in your sig block:

Pics of "the glitter and stud queens coalition" or it never happened!  (And that would be totally absurd.  Having a great name like that and no pics?  Yep. Absurd.)

Nope.  Don't need pics of  you as a member of  "the Clan of Scarlet O'Hair-a's "
