So let's look at what you bolded here.

You interpreted this as "psychological problem", but he never said that. He was just referring to psychological motivations, which obviously all of us have. No need to get your buttons pushed on this one.

If you strip away the lack of tactfulness, all of these are just expressions of the idea that MOST men are not attracted to large bodytypes. Of course SOME are attracted, but most are simply not. It may not have been stated very nicely, but it's not a judgment or bigotry to imply something that is a fact in our society. And remember he never indicated that large women *should* be considered less desirable, simply that they *are* by most men - and it is a pretty big distinction. Consider that nobody would call someone a bigot simply for pointing out that blacks experience discrimination - but if they said that blacks *should* be discriminated against, well hey they would rightfully be called a bigot.
Plus the weight thing cuts both ways.. men with more bodyfat are going to get a lot less attention from MOST women. I've seen it myself. Like a lot of guys my weight has fluctuated over the years. When I was heavier I became mostly invisible to women in public, and when I am fit I get a lot of eye contact. I find it fascinating, and I certainly don't take it personally that this is the way of the world. It's just good motivation to stay fit.
The OP was expressing a naive curiousity about demographics and psychology, and put forth some rather misguided theories about rape. Rather than trying to educate the guy, he was mostly subjected to personal attack. In many cases these attacks were both very bitter and very very personal. So tell me again who was rushing to judgement?
I didn't find his post bigoted or particularly judgemental, either. Most men WOULD rather a *hot body*did a bit of streaking, most don't wish the gal stripping on the sidelines was humungous. The majority of blokes would also hope for a rather youthful streaker. I'm slim but I wouldn't presume for ONE moment that a youthful girl wouldn't be far more appreciated than me at 54yrs old! That's just a fact.
However clumsily he put it, he said nothing that *most* chaps don't think or prefer. Not all, but a large majority.
Rape is a completely different scenario
My daughter is a big girl.....she's young, pretty and lovely, but she knows damn well that lots of guys simply aren't attracted to her because she is fat. It's a fact......that's all it is. She's not hurt by it because she knows that's all it is, plus she could do something about it anytime she wants.
I also got plenty of *glazed over* looks when I was overweight after having my fourth child. Same face, different body. I've only spent 2 yrs being fat in my life-time but it was an eye-opening 2 yrs.
Tellingly, my husband didn't even notice that I was fat until we were looking at some photographs much later on.He said * Wow, I always said I'd never fuck a fat bird, too!!*, amid much hilarity. I wonder why that was???
Anyhow, I don't drool over fat blokes either, as a rule (ref DNYC)(apart from Robbie Coltrane and.....) But if M had been fat, I'd have been just as lappingly smitten. If he GOT fat now, I'd be just as disgustingly smitten......just as my husband was with me. He's M, he's gorgeous.
Isn't it wonderful how beautiful minds make beautiful sexy bodies?
