Oh, there are some GREAT American Ales ... Particularly if you like Indian Pales. I'd stack some of the better Micro-Brews up against just about anything but certain traditions such as good Irish Brews and specialties like Orval.

IPAs are very dependent on the quality of the water.
Are any of these decent beers available in Europe?
Am more than happy to give them a try.

There are a number of excellent mass produced American Beers. Old Style immediately comes to mine, as does Yuengling Premium.

The Yeungling site says that's a lager and keeps asking me what State I'm in.
Assuming they're not asking if I'm drunk, I'll also assume they don't export.

Are there any dark, heavy ABV, bottom fermented ales that reach Europe?
Any quaffers of good American beer over here with a link?
