It might. Kind of like, the fact that one of them was a registered Democrat at one point matters.

ad hominum circumstantial.

It drives you crazy that you don't have total control of the debate, doesn't it?

The motivation of the accuser is alwys a consideration, whether you like it (or understand that) or not.

Sanity -> RE: Have you ever been accused, sir, in your life of harassment by a woman? (11/3/2011 8:12:59 AM)

You're right, my bad. Suggesting that someone may be a Democrat is rather a low blow

mnottertail -> RE: Have you ever been accused, sir, in your life of harassment by a woman? (11/3/2011 8:17:40 AM)

ad hominem abusive

Well, sort of like St. Wrinklemeat can be a socialist when it is convienient to the spin because he was a registered democrat and a union thug and goon at one time.

Or how Thurmond was a Democrat at one time. [8|]

Especially when your own source states she has no political affiliation at this time.

quote:

The AP confirmed that the employee worked at the restaurant association with Cain during his time there, that she has no party affiliation in her voter registration in the past decade and that she is not identified as a donor in federal campaigns or local political campaigns. Records show she was registered as a Democrat at one point previously.

But according to some, this is all about nothing and we simply hate Cain.

My "rush" to judgement seems to be spot on... once again.

FR

Not harassment but sex discrimination, for firing a woman just after she announced she was pregnant. Our lawyer suggested we offer her $7k (in 1982 dollars) and not fight it. She accepted, her idiot husband stormed back into the lawyers office and took back the acceptance. She got nothing in court. The settlements mean nothing.

hlen5 -> RE: Have you ever been accused, sir, in your life of harassment by a woman? (11/3/2011 11:23:10 AM)

So why did you fire her?

She was alienating clients for months and neglecting her primary function. We had records of ads being placed for her replacement for several weeks before her announcement....the very morning we were going to fire her. It held up our acting for a week to assess any liability and while we concluded there was none, we still offered a settlement.

Try not to give into the impulse to attack the victim sanity, your reputation here is sullied enough without you actually declaring what a scumbag you can be.

And you proved that, apparently, in court. I have no issue with that willbe. Reminds me of the Citibank woman who was fired for being "too sexy"

She lost too.

Good point. Correlation does not equal causality. It's a good thing you folks took care to dig your "paper foxhole". (Proper documentation)

Its Newsbusters.... lmao

Anyways, you are so right, Lucy. Not to mention, that scandal was in 1998.... this one was 1999... it really isnt helping Cain's case by comparing them.
