well we see now that pulling him out by the neck was a baaaad idea... =p

XFootSlave4U -> RE: The Walking Dead (11/9/2011 6:56:17 PM)

Season 2 is a little too slow for my liking, this Sophia thing is taking far too long to resolve. At this point, I honestly do not care what state she is in.

But let’s just say I saw the preview for Episode 4, and things are going to get exciting again.

My DVR cut the preview off. What did it show?

It's Sunday, so I guess we'll find out soon enough. =p

Toppingfrmbottom -> RE: The Walking Dead (11/13/2011 5:12:04 PM)

Daddy andI started watching it on netflix, and we missed a lot of the next season but we'll catch up online.

LillyBoPeep -> RE: The Walking Dead (11/14/2011 6:58:40 AM)

The last episode just added to the awesomeness of Darryl. =p
But the Merle that he saw had both hands, so, alas, it wasn't the awesome return of Merle that I was thinking it might be. He was just hallucinating.

To resurrect this thread...

I just watched the "Pretty Much Dead Already" episode. I won't spoil it for the rest of those who haven't seen it. But....holy fuck!

LillyBoPeep -> RE: The Walking Dead (11/28/2011 7:13:51 AM)

Are you talking about the one that came on last night?
Soooo sad.........

The previous one, now... Shane grabbing a handful of Andrea's hair - ooohh my :p haha

Yeah. Suffice it to say (to avoid spoilers) they really saved a gut punch for the final 3 minutes. I haven't been thrown like that since the last episode of the ever-so-slow 4th season of Dexter where he pursues the Trinity Killer.

No kiddin'. I know the world's gone to hell and such from the zombie apocalypse, but really...all she did was grab his cock and he stops, leans back and says "Alright, get it." Either that outing really had her goin'....or them Georgia deputies got mad game.

LillyBoPeep -> RE: The Walking Dead (11/28/2011 8:53:32 AM)

Some women like a dangerous man, doncha know. :p and accents help, too

But yeah - definitely a gut-puncher in the last episode. And that's where it's left until bloody FEBRUARY...

catfightservice -> RE: The Walking Dead (11/28/2011 10:32:09 AM)

been looking for a place to chat about walking dead. this one is as good as any i suppose.

Just watched last nights episode. Those that saw it know about sophia now... finally....

POOR Shane. I think hes a stand up guy he deffinately is a valuable asset to the group. He a little crazy but over all I think he means well. I think Lori needs to cut him some slack. Ya they hooked up while they thought rick was dead. Ricks alive, ok so Shanes a little hurt, his emoctions have really been toyed with here. Lori needs cut the guy a break and be a little more sensitive to his feelings, and not so cold. After all he only saved her and carls life.

Whats up with the old guy? I liked him up untill the last 2 episodes. Hes really got it in for Shane. The old guy is noble but he needs to stay out of everyones business, especially shanes. Or else hes going to have a big problem.

LillyBoPeep -> RE: The Walking Dead (11/28/2011 10:40:45 AM)

Yeah, Dale was reeeally annoying in the last two episodes. He thinks he's everyone's dad, especially Andrea's -- i think his problem with Shane is mostly because he noticed "something" between him and Andrea. He never seemed to have much of a problem with him before.

And I think it's unfair... if the kid is Shane's, it's unfair of Lori to state "it'll never be yours." That's wrong, especially after everything he's done to try to help her and everyone else. Otherwise, she was just using him when she was upset, and now that she has her happy family back, she wants to get rid of him. Wrong, wrong, wrong. Lori drives me BONKERS.

I like Shane. He's going bananas, I think, but I still think he's the most real of all the characters. He's always the one put in the position of making really crappy decisions. He did kind of overstep the line in the last episode, I think, but he tries to think about reality and the immediate welfare of everyone, instead of being idealistic and in the clouds, like Rick is.

catfightservice -> RE: The Walking Dead (11/28/2011 11:31:49 AM)

I like Rick. He just face with the tough taks of playing liason between herschell, and the group, on top of finding sophia, AND keeping the group safe. I think hes getting overwhelmed with everything, Lori included, but I think hes alright. I admire his character when Lori finally confessed having something with shane, right after telling him she was pregnant. He was just as mono tone as always.

And yeah Lori can't shun shane away at a time like this.

One person I didnt thats mad a hell of a turn around is Darrel. Last season he struck me as arrogant, ignorant, closed minded and all for himself. This season he's come around as a true team player, with very noble cause.

If this was a realaity show Id vote Dalle off:)

LillyBoPeep -> RE: The Walking Dead (11/28/2011 11:37:13 AM)

Daryl is awesome ^_^ I was reading an interview with Reedus about how he's kind of conceiving Daryl, and the point for the character, this season, is to realize that he's not really like Merle. He grew up in the shadow of Merle and absorbed a lot of Merle's "Merle-ness," but he's really a different person who is finally starting to come into his own, now that he's not under Merle's shadow anymore.

Daryl and Shane are probably my favorites.

subrob1967 -> RE: The Walking Dead (11/28/2011 1:04:01 PM)

Daryl is becoming Shane, and Shane is becoming Daryl, I wonder if Daryl will find Sophie, given all the shit he's dealt with due to the search.

SorceressJ -> RE: The Walking Dead (11/28/2011 1:15:56 PM)

Um, they found her. Last night..

sheisreeds -> RE: The Walking Dead (11/28/2011 4:24:02 PM)

Yes they did!

They have to get off the farm, I am so sick of the damn farm.

LillyBoPeep -> RE: The Walking Dead (11/28/2011 4:30:12 PM)

I am, too. It's just dragging on and on. Get off the farm! Hopefully in Feb, and now that the Sophia mystery is solved, they'll be off on new adventures...

SorceressJ -> RE: The Walking Dead (11/28/2011 4:32:43 PM)

The farm is not the bad part. Gorgeous place, I would totally live there. That well-intentioned old gent taking what was left of his world and everyone else's lives into his own hands by being ignorant of the fact that walkers are dead-dead-deadsky and cannot be cured or saved, that was the problem.

Did you see everyone's faces when that poor child came stumbling out of that barn..? Every face told a different story.

Shane's issues. Lori's pregnancy. Also a problem.

Has anyone else commenting on this thread ever read the graphic novel (because it is SO not a comic book. nothin funny in it at all..)?

SorceressJ -> RE: The Walking Dead (11/28/2011 4:47:06 PM)

P.S. and Lilly? Your Daryl LOL was Teh BOMB!!1! (yes. I would so do him. Why be coy?) [:)]
