just my opinion and experience for Iamssw
false - doesn't (didn't in my case) make any positive difference
so: without: looks better and feels better not to mention the fuss getting it in

I had a curved bar, and it didnt catch on anything, but that is because my anatomy "shielded" it. It still twisted, and now my inner labia ring twists insanely. But I LOVES it my preciousssss! Though it is purely decorative.

My friend's piercer told her not to have sex for a long time. 6 weeks, I think. Too bad, because I am anxious for her to take it for a "test drive" before I commit. I am such a chicken, it has to be really, really worth it for me to do it.

It's really not that big a deal, semisweet... though I am the person who had fishooks stuck in her chest for an evening, so maybe I am the wrong person to ask!!

I know folks who LOVE their "functional" piercings. I am sad that mine didnt work, because it was REALLY PRETTY. Teal niobium balls on the end of the bar....

Just do it!! If you hate it, take it out! Granted, it's not cheap, but it's not unlike a bad haircut, and much easier to change back.

I've had a vertical clit-hood piercing for a couple of years. It's definitely enhanced all sensations around my clit. Healing was swift and straightforward and we had sex after a week.

It's especially nice when using my Hitachi, as it vibrates and radiates the sensation so much. Vaginal and oral sex is even better, too.

I do get turned on more often when I'm not necessarily expecting it, for instance when I'm active and it's moving around down there.

No complaints from me!

I am envious of agirl...I was so hoping it would do that for me. When the vibrator hit it, it made a noise like a sewing machine that needed work.

I've never heard of anyone being "desensitized".

It sometimes DOES make a noise.....lol

I don't use the wand directly on my vulva at all, it's toooooooooo powerful, just one layer of thin cotton makes all the difference and muffles the *buzz*.

The sensations far exceeded what I expected from it though. And consider that I'm a cyclist.....rub, rub, this side, that side, wiggle, wiggle :) If it wasn't autumn and a bit chilly, I'd be in throwing myself down in hedges all over the south of England.

It's one of things you can't know until you try it. The plus side, of course, is that if it's really not giving *shiny, happy feelings* you can just take it out :)

There's little risk of loss of sensation with a clithood piercing. It's not messing with your clit at all.

I thought I was going to have a laid back weekend playing banjo by the town river only to find that he'd decided that a trip to the piercer's was the plan. Instead of plucking strings, I was plucking courage.......LOL

I ought to add that having a sex monster as an owner sort of helps. It's hard to find anything *meh* and everything is always worth it.

I didn't choose the piercing, so maybe that also makes a difference. I had no expectations because I wasn't lining up to have it done.....lol. I was in the best place to be pleasantly surprised :)

I didn't go with that piercing in mind, either, I let Elaine decide. Sadly, I am not "built" for the glam genital piercings that work :( the inner labia I wanted, of course, for the purty.

I want to try it myself but where in the world
would you go? My friend had hers done and she
said "she had one large climax that was ( i am not sure
if this is true ) a long one and it did not stop as he was doing the
piecerings?

I am scare if i were to lose the feelings down there1
