no humans here, we're all fake aside from Greedy who's a figment of our imagination so I'm puzzled who you've been talking to.

LaTigresse your assumption would be correct ... although I did get a bit bubbly talking about the motorcycle.

On this side, you not only meet the people who read the books, in some cases, you get to meet the authors. The longer Im here, the more I realize how much more I can learn.

LillyBoPeep thank you for the support and kind words.  I am probably not as rustic as I seem, I wear shoes, most of the time ... I have my own teeth ... I do not use them to chew a cud of tobacco ... still I do have a pick up and shotgun ... maybe I need a hound dog???

hahaha :) very true =p

there are so many topics here sometimes, it can be a really interesting place, particularly Off-Topic Discussion. people post interesting videos, links to interesting sites.
we have a lot of nature and space-related postings. (Iamsemisweet posted a link to a video of a really spectacular murmuration of birdies -- it's really nice.)

then if you feel like debating and namecalling, there's Politics & Religion. =p

haha no worries -- and everyone in my family wore shoes and had teeth. though my grandpa chewed tobacco for a few years after quitting smoking. haha =p
(i actually prefer not to wear shoes. even though i like stupidly cute high heels, most of the time, even if i'm outside, i'd rather go without shoes. =p)

we had a whole bunch of guns and a whole bunch of trucks -- aaaand a brief stint with a hound dog someone had dropped off to "fend for himself" near our house. lame. but he was a great, sweet dog. ^_^ we found him a new home with one of my grandpa's customers who would make use of his hunting skills.

Oh LillyBoPeep I know what you mean ... and that's is why I love where I live so much.  I've got mountains and excellent skiing and such right here yet I can be in a major city in about an hour and give me three hours and I can be in a number of major cities ... but I do not have the smog, the traffic or the over glut of humanity.  I love this state its really beautiful.
